Away for a few days? Just select Holiday mode and tell Homely when you are leaving and when you’ll be back. Warmer weather on the way? Switch on Hot Water Only mode to keep your house cooler but your water nice and warm.

In Smart+ mode, you can use the app to tell Homely how flexible you are about how your home is heated. The more flexible you are, the more money Homely can save you.

Just updated and a massive improvement showing key bits of data(water temp) all on home screen. Always been really easy to use and the app has improved alot in since we had it installed in Nov 23. It does all the fiddling tweaking of the heat pump, i would probably tried to have done, it just takes care of itself in the most efficient way.

Easy to set up, easy to use, does a great job of optimising the heat pump. I've also signed up to the extra package which has shifted the heat pump use into the cheaper part of my time of use tariff and looks like it'll provide a decent saving. Homely support have also been very helpful on the two occasions I've asked detailed questions.

Update following calls from support team: The app is well designed, intuitive and easy to navigate. Some very useful features e.g. holiday mode for when you're away, Hot water only mode for the summer months. Makes it very easy to control your heat pump. There had been an issue with crashes in an earlier version, but the support team was professional and persevered until this was resolved.

I have an air source heat pump and am on the octopus agile tariff previously controlled by x 2 Nest third generation thermostats. They tended to overheat my home and draw power during the expensive 4pm to 7pm period. Installation of the homely thermostat was simple however there were a number of teething issues due to the previous configuration. The customer care was spectacular and I was guided remotely to make the necessary changes .Phone calls were prompt and returned as promised.

Good improvement in the latest version to be able to see both outside temperature and hot water at a glance! Would be even cooler to see COP eventually.
