This app sucks on Samsung tv's. The guide really sucks. There's a vertical green status bar that runs straight down the guide. It interferes with reading the programs that are currently airing. It's so irritating. Then, when you select live tv on the left menu bar, it brings you to a tv program already in progress, not the guide itself, which I want. To get to the guide, I have to arrow down from the tv show that hulu brought me to by default. Waaaay too many steps to get to the guide.

More than 3/4 of the time, only the ads play, and then the app or browser freezes. Then, you have to start the process over again. I pay for Max, Disney Plus, and hulu separately, even though there are plans that can't go on the mobile bill who they partner with and all subscriptions run through the bill to begin with. This will be the last month customer service was 3 hours of wasted time in my life. Yes, unfortunately, I said 3 hours with not one single resolution.

It was good before when they didn't have ads for certain movies, but now it feels like just about everything has more ads than ever before. I get it, profit over customers, but watching movies just isn't as enjoyable as it used to be. My rating went from 3 to 1 star because now they don't even give you a prompt to change your password, they just make you do it, and once you do, it logs you out of all associated apps (I'm looking at you, Disney+). It would have been 2 stars, but website sucks.

I pay for the ad free version and still get ads. Greedy, terrible company and then Disney bought it and it got worse. They slowly raise prices as not to shock you with big jumps in price so you don't notice how much they are screwing you. What a rip off! Also, the app has been working incorrectly more frequently as of late. I regularly have to restart the app and clear my cache to be able to use it. In summary it's becoming a more expensive product while simultaneously becoming worse.

Subscription is a freaking mess and keeps getting messier every time I use this service. I just resubscribed via Google Play, but I still can't watch on web, just seeing the stupid welcome screen asking me to subscribe. Also, it didn't ask me which plan I wanted, just gave me the default one with ads. So annoying. Just delete the whole thing and redo it from scratch. But this time, maybe actually think about it first.

They charge more & they still cant fix all the bugs they have,even after mutliple "updates".If you pause a show and watch it another time,it always starts you way back from where you left off. If you pause it and exit,and go back in,it doesn't start you where you left off. Or sometimes it restarts the entire episode or starts you off in another episode. There's video/sound lag,on both app and stream,there not in sync. And every so often,it kicks you out the app and logs you off.

Hulu is awkward to use compared to Netflix and Prime. When selecting something to play, there is no option to start over at the begining. I will sometimes stop watch an episode in the middle, and when I go back, I'd like to restart it. The only option is to rewind. Rewinding is slow and you don't have a view of the scenes as they are rewinding, so if you are looking to go back and replay from a particular moment, you just have to blindly guess. Overall, just clunky and hard to use.

Android app on my phone has been super glitchy the last few weeks. When I rewind something, the audio cuts out and back in at the same spot no matter how far I rewind again and again. I also have to force stop the app and clear the cache every single time I want to open it again. This app used to run seamlessly, and now it's a PITA.
