The free official National Public Toilet Map app from the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care shows the location of more than 23,000 publicly available toilets in Australia and includes details of accessibility, opening hours and other features such as sharps disposal and baby change.• Find nearby toilets or search for a place you will be visiting.
• Personalise your results by setting your preferences to return toilets that meet your needs, e.g ambulant, accessible parking, right or left hand transfer.
• See the locations on the map and/or view the toilets in the list to see details and get directions - on foot or in a car.
The National Public Toilet Map is funded by the Australian Government Department of Health as part of the National Continence Program to assist the estimated 4.8 million Australians affected by continence issues.

Edit: 90% my phone apparently. I received the email about my update, so the site may have been showing that already. I'm sitting trying to update a facility, but the app isn't doing it for me. I have gone to the associated website, and THAT has the accurate information. I can't see how to make the app update data. It all appears like it is online.

*EDIT* The bug has already been fixed! Thanks :) --- Great until recently, but now totally unusable. Keeps coming up with an error message "map disabled because quota staus is blocked." No idea what this means? I can't see any way to contact developers or get help with the app? I really hope this bug is fixed, as it's been a great app til now!

Poor coverage. Missing all the toilets near me. The Just in Time app has much better coverage. Not obvious how to add facilities to the map. I notice replies saying you can become a crowd source, and you can email to find out how. Not good enough, as the poor coverage proves. You need to be able to add sites within the app.

Amendments are difficult to get accepted. I havr tried several times to get a local toilet block added. It took a year to add, and 6 months later has gone again. Useless unless easily updated. Why can't the user add/delete locations? Adrian

Absolutely shocking app. Told me a service station was open 24 hours with showers, I get there and it's totally shut down without shower access at all!!!!! Not good enough considering people travelling 12+ hours at a time who rely on apps like this

I reinstalled the app as we are going for a trip, unfortunately the app is not showing any toilet data, telling me could not connect to the server check the Internet connection. I have tried with Wifi and mobile Data no different. Is this a wider problem? The Map is loading fine.

There is no way to close the pop up messages for national toilet hunt that block access to the map. This makes the app unusable. Edit: Thanks for reply. Swipe left works.

Very useful and usually accurate with most discrepancies being a location is either open or closed at a different time than even marked on the actual venue so not the fault of the app!
