Getting Worse. I've had this service since it first came out. Used to be great. I've had a legacy subscription, paid for the Pro+ and now they make it impossible to get support with endless pages of guides on how to find support links, going out of their way to detour request. Widget sucks. Forced icon changes means it doesn't show in search. Moving away from this.

IFTTT used to be accessible, easy to use, and solved lots of problems. Now, it is a problem in itself. It only works part of the time, and the user experience is clunky, at best. The paywalls and subscription make me feel like I am paying to be psychologically tortured. I will happily pay for a good service, but the value and cost do not add up anymore. I regret letting my subscription renew again. The cost makes less sense every year. A 2 because when it when it works, it does, indeed, work.

Really disappointed. Originally this app was free, it was pretty good. I understand why they went to a paid model, no problem, I get it. They had a 1.99 legacy "forever plan." I ran into the same issues everyone else had. No biggie I'll still support them. That price jumped up to $3, which wasn't terrible or wallet breaking. It wasn't honest. Now they just ended it. I think it is $30 year, which is 2.50 a month. Idk, I'll dig more into it.

Subscriber for years and used 6 applets. After getting a notification that my CC was going to expire and, therefor, an updated CC was needed to continue billing. After visiting the site I found the perfect app that could save me a lot of effort so I selected it and input the requested data (i.e, telephone number) and yes that is the exact verbiage of the request. The info that was required was a different number and now I cannot use the app as the data is permanent and not editable.

App and service was working great. Suddenly stopped working on certain stuff. Come to find out the pro version I've been paying for yearly isn't enough anymore and that I now have to upgrade to pro+ to do the same stuff that used to work. Dumb. Time to find something else.

I used the app for several years to connect my thermostat to the electric company to take advantage of pricing saving offered by the company. Only set up three applets. Sometimes the applets worked, sometimes not. Now there's no free version of IFTTT that will allow even one applet to be connected. Not worth paying anything for a service that doesn't always work. I'm uninstalling the app.

Extremely frustrating to get applets turned off with no errors or explanatian and no notification. Even more when the only info goes to generic instructions or says to contact them for help and they also have no clue without an error, now I can't justify renewing Pro Membership. Too many times now it has failed and the level of concern or care when asking for help isn't here. Used to absolutely love this app. Hands down, easy favorite. I'll be canceling if my next ticket is handled the same.🤞

Wanted to use if-then in home automation routines such as IF light is on THEN change hue. Instead, IF THIS THEN THAT is hundreds of pre-written routines. We are not allowed to choose the 'this' and 'that'. Must search their list. The routines offered are mostly just reminders. Don't need 'if this happens then shop for something'.
