The Leeds Bins app allows you to easily obtain bin collection information in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Input your address to see your Black, Green and Brown bin collection dates for the next four weeks. With the app you can save these dates to your device's calendar and specify when you are reminded of upcoming collections. Also, see where your nearest recycling points are on an interactive map. Please note that bin collection date searches may not work for flats with shared bins.

It's a bins app, it tells you about the bin collections. It works, 5 stars. You can add the next few week's worth of dates to your calendar so you get reminders and it tells you of any changes to the collection dates or if they're suspended (thanks COVID19 for stopping the brown bins being collected). Not sure how or why it's getting bad reviews to be honest.

Does exactly what it says on the tin, syncs with my Google calendar to remind me to put my bins out the night before, updates every 6 weeks and asks if I want to add the new dates to my calendar. If I had to post a complaint, it's that it takes a few seconds to load your address and tell you the next few weeks of bin collection dates, but that's just because we're used to everything being so instantaneous. Otherwise dead easy to use, and incredibly practical!

It's a great idea and an easy to use app BUT... The interface is very cluttered and it only does 6 weeks, so you get used to being notified and then wham it stops and you forget the bin again. Why not just put them in for the year?

This is one of the best apps ever!!! I am the hero of our street!! I always have the right bin out on the right day, even when there's bank holidays!!!! I sometimes put the wrong bin out on purpose and get up early the next morning to change it, just to see how many people are copying me😂😂😂. Seriously, it tells you what bin to put out and when!!

Would be useful if it could help me find places to recyle everything, ie - search for tetra paks - as very few sites are actually shown on the map. Maybe its just the official council ones that are listed, but you should really be encoursging recycling on a whole.

Excellent app that luckily is based where we live. After initial setup of postcode and Google calendar etc, every few weeks I get a notification telling me the are more dates to add, quick click into the app and it's all taken care of. Very impressive that it a picks up holiday dates automatically, is always accurate and very yet to use.

Love this app! So ideal to use, easy to navigate, highly recommended, very accurate! Sometimes brown bin collection dates are wrong but I always leave it out for extra 1-2 days incase but eventually it is taken, give it patience!

Takes years to load. Often says it has saved dates to the calendar, but hasn't. This is before we even get to the fact that half the time the bins don't get collected when it says they will.
