The HxGN EAM Mobile Offline app (formerly HxGN EAM Mobile for Transit) allows organizations to perform functions such as Work Management, Materials Management, Inspections, Checklist and Asset Inventory. The app, after an initial sync, can operate in a disconnected mode allowing users to continue to create and modify data even when a data connection is not available. Once the device re-establishes a connection, another sync is required to save the new and modified data from the app to the server as well as to retrieve the latest data from the server. The app also has a map screen that works with ESRI’s GIS software.

Certain EAM version is required to work with this App. Network connection is required for the app to sync with the server. A database script may be required to support certain versions of EAM. Contract HxGN EAM Support for more details.

Please Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
Users have the option to turn off the Breadcrumb Location Service for the App.

We have to use this software on iOS devices for my job, and it is very unwieldy for our line of work as utility field techs. The original software developer (Infor) intended this software to be a desk job-type of application "on the go", but it ends up falling flat. My main issue is dispatched work takes too long to clear from "hard" syncs. We were originally told that "soft" syncs which happen every 5 mins were supposed to automatically clear our already-completed work, but that doesn't happen.

This has to be the worst developed app in the Play store. Because it's created for businesses, the developers have taken vast amounts of cash and then run for the hills. Crashes constantly. Add a document, crash. Sync every 6 minutes. Take 7 minutes to sync, then freeze and crash. No worthwhile updates that hopefully would alleviate the issues ever arise. No takes heed of the feedback. Takes twice as long to complete a task, than it ever did on paper! Absolutely useless!

This is the worst program for truck shops!!! I spend more time syncing the tablet and working through bugs than any other application i have ever used. I've been a diesel mechanic for nearly 25 years. Even when EAM works as it should it does not work for mechanics. Greasy mechanics fingers on a teblet has ruined the otter box in a month or two and my company doesn't have a tablet for each mechanic because EAM charges a fee for each. VMRS missing from tablet, they should be attached to activities
