The app can't use my Sennheiser HD 4.50 BTNC as microphone which is kind of a bummer since the smartphone microphone picks up a lot of noise when carried in a bag or pocket. With that caveat the app meets expectations. The only feature I'm missing is an equalizer for the transparent hearing audio, so you can filter out custom frequencies while still hearing conversations.

I wondered if there was something for this, glad someone made it. There's no permanent way to disable ads, but they're only visible when toggling on and off so it's not a huge deal. It allows you to switch your microphone which is handy. It may be a pain in some situations to place a microphone in a spot where it doesn't get disturbed by being in your pocket or wind blowing by, but that's not the app's fault.

Through my experience with all similar applications, I found that this wonderful application is the only effective and real application through which you can hear the sounds amplified live without the slightest delay, and it is the only one that allows playing any audio file as a background for your live voice, and no application competes with it, including the Google application (Sound Amplifier). I hope that sound effects will be added in the next versions, such as echo, bass, treble, etc.

When connected to my earbuds, my music sounded like it was being played theough my phones speaker instead of my earbuds. I hope this issue can be resolved, because it kinda ruined the quality of the music a bit for me, and also i paid for the lifetime use of this app. But other than that, i think the lag is understandable, and the voice clarity is excellent. I hope the devs will acknowledge the music quality issue, then ill rate this app to 5 stars

The app works fine. It hasn't crashed or froze. The only thing I've found wrong is the mic settings. It says this microphone or that microphone butit still uses all of them on each setting. And also if there is a way to focus the mic to pick up sounds that are away from you, I would do that. Because when you're using the app if you're anywhere within 6 ft. of your phone or tablet all you cam hear is yourself breathing, unless you're listening to music. Sorry if that all sounds kinda harsh.

This is a mixed bag in all honesty. The app itself does what it says on the tin. So the good points - it picks up everything! The bad points - it picks up everything! I mainly wanted to use this when I access the outside world. However, one of the problems that I have noticed is that it tends to be more effective when using the phone microphone, which is where the problems lies as when I am out I mainly pick up constant rustling sounds from my pocket, which drowns out every other noise.

Have only used for a short time but it is performing the task as advertised and doing so better than other apps I've used so far. I haven't really looked into or used any filters (if available) yet but plan to see what (if any) other features are available in the app now and play with whatever features are included to see if it gets any better still. Overall, it's an easy to use, clean sound and user-friendly app.

A Google user

This app has important uses outside of safety. I play music as a hobby, and it's nice to be able to hear my drumset or saxophone coming from my ears and blended into the music im practicing along with. There is extremely low latency, too small to notice, which extremely important. You can also hear conversations while listening to music or any form of audio. Being able to adjust the volume gain is also extremely helpful, as different situations require different gains. The ads aren't intrusive.
