Cutthroat is a popular Pinochle variation for three players. Unlike most partnership Pinochle games, Cutthroat pits each player against one another, every man for himself. It’s a fast-paced, highly competitive, and very strategic card game, requiring careful planning, good memory and discipline.In this game, you can play online against real people or choose between 8 computer opponents, each with different skill levels and unique styles of playing. Each player is dealt 15 cards with 3 cards dealt face-down to the widow. Players bid after initial cards are dealt and the high bidder combines the widow cards to potentially form a stronger hand, then discarding the three weakest cards.

I've been playing cutthroat for 50 years and I love this game. I do think that the computer players could be tweaked a bit though. I think the bidding is a little too high for single deck cutthroat, it's not very realistic. Also, I feel like the players almost always have their run in their meld, way too often to be real. And you must beat the card played if possible. And I think you should allow more time to view the kitty when it's flipped up. All in all, I enjoy your game very much, thanks.

After my previous post I realized I can enter options into the game & set it up the way I prefer. Other than that I like the game, especially that you can play against different players that have varying strategies. I'm not sure why, but several times the game has told me that I didn't make my bid when I had more meld than the bid? I've played so much that I'm starting to recognize the same hands that I've seen before. You need to make up more hands. It's not going to be a challenge anymore.

Scoring has gone wonky. This is a great game and I've loved it for years, but suddenly the scoring doesn't work properly. My score keeps getting lower and, no, I'm not failing to make my bid. I had a notification that there was a response to this message from the developer... But I can't seem to find it. I'd be very happy to learn that there's a fix to my glitch. And I'll gladly change my review. Is there another way to message me?

It's the best pinnacle game on google play especially if you play double deck no 9s which is the only way to play in my opinion it actually has strategies and by beating your opponents it's very satisfying There is a few things that I wish were different but hey its hard to get friends together to play and this is the closest thing i wish we could communicate after gametime better or even before I could teach these guys or girls how to play

I constantly get, 'sorry something happened game stopped' or when it is someone else's turn to play, the game ends and I get a penalty. Why?

The programing is written. When playing, if I'm 3rd to go and the first person leads with a K of diamonds, and the second trumps it, then on my turn, I should be able to play my Q or J of diamonds, but instead it forces me to play my 10 or A of diamonds. That's not correct.

My favorite card game! Not a lot of annoying ads! Update! Don't have same issues as others. I play on the computer option and it would be fun if you added more players. Now Abraham consistently bids to a point but he will have meld at 153 and passes at 90! Also game really needs to upgrade Bridget from 1 star! She's a good player all around! Still enjoying the game for nearly 60+ years!🤣🤣🤣
