I loved this app for a long time, but then they got rid of the app manager. Several months ago, I emailed the developer and asked them for either my money back or a past version of ROM Toolbox Pro that still had the app manager. Preferrably I would get the older version with the app as that was what I paid for and what I want. I never got a response. I see on here now that they have posted a link to an app for us to download. However, this is not the pro version, but the lite version, which would mean I would have to back up every app individually. This would be a huge time suck, since I have over 100 apps. Their description even still states "ROM Toolbox combines apps like Titanium Backup", which it no longer does. That's a misleading description to have! Because of the poor customer service and the removal of features after my purchase, I EMPHATICALLY BELIEVE THAT 0 STARS IS JUSTIFIED. However, that is not possible.

Has many powerful tools, most work very well. Some sections don't work on some devices. The interface is crowded. Backup/restore options seem limited, not flexible. The PRO version adds extra options. Development seems stalled for years now, but they did remove the App Manager section!

My original review is below for anyone interested... 2020 Review: WTH? I have RT Pro but most of the apps I need to purchase a second time? Not impressed at all. 2013 Review: I have high praises for the software and higher for the developer. When I had a problem with my purchase they resolved it immediately in under 20 mins. Excellence all around.

I had been using this app for years and of course I had to buy the Pro version (which I rarely do for any app) but this one was different. I liked everything it offered and everything it had. Today after getting a new phone set up... Downloaded the app just to discover features are missing and others it used to have are links to separate apps! Seems like a nasty move to me when the parts removed are basically the heart of the app and clearly I am not the only one disgusted by the move. Thanks for years of amazing work but your end has come. I will look for a replacement soon

I paid for the "pro" version a long time ago, when it featured between other things an ad blocker. That got scraped in short order, which was fair enough (since the developers had to do that to stay in the Play store). However, things continued to be scrapped for no good reason. Most recently the developers got rid of the built-in text editor, which for me was the end of it. I have now moved over; whatever is left of the functionality can be easily replaced with other apps.

Was one of the best set of tools around for rooted phones, but not anymore. Like many others I bought this a long time ago now but having installed it today I found that very many of the features I bought this for are now missing. If this was new it'd be more of a novelty, as the features aren't that useful, but the fact it got significantly worse and very stripped down after I bought it makes it horrible. Unfortunately I would suggest avoiding this and looking elsewhere.

Has lost tons of functionality over the years but still has some handy stuff. As long as you have root which is hard enough these days with every manufacturer locking down the bootloader and blaming it on the carrier and back and forth, anyhow still worth the money to support the dev if even one of the functions works for you at least in my opinion it is, this isn't the easiest thing to put together im sure, so thanks for the hard work

Hadn't used this in a while but needed to back up an app and have spent 10 minutes trying to find the app manager... It's been removed! Reading the reviews it looks like the original author sold out and for some reason the new developer is decimating the features that we PAID for. The description still shows the App Manager as a feature, surely this is false advertising and fraudulent. Totally unacceptable.
