Nonograms, also known as Paint by Numbers, Picross, Griddlers, Pic-a-Pix, kenken, kakuro, pictogram, numbrix, shikaku, nurikabe and various other names, are picture logic puzzles in which cells in a grid must be colored or left blank according to numbers at the side of the grid to reveal a hidden picture. In this puzzle type, the numbers are a form of discrete tomography that measures how many unbroken lines of filled-in squares there are in any given row or column. For example, a clue of "4 8 3" would mean there are sets of four, eight, and three filled squares, in that order, with at least one blank square between successive sets.kind of nonogramm : 5x5, 10x10, 15x15, 20x20, 25x25

I used this app years ago but stopped because they ran out of content. But I picked it up again and it's gotten so much better. There are more puzzles, more difficult puzzles, and a daily puzzle. The only thing I wish is that you could pick your difficulty for the daily since the ones early in the month are too easy.

I love this game but I recently upgraded my phone to a note 9 largely for this game. I got a notification saying that this app was made for older operating systems but there are no updates to correct that. the game has been acting up lately. it shuts down randomly, it doesn't save your progress when that happens. I was 3 boxes from completing a page and it kicked me off and when I opened it up I lost 3/4 of my progress. fix that and you will get a 5 ✴

Update: this used to be one of my favorites, but the introduction of constant pop-up ads is so obnoxious that it's just unplayable now. I would gladly pay to remove the ads, but that isn't an option. Such a shame! Original: 5 years after I first installed this, it's still one of my favorites. I love that there are no noisy, intrusive pop-up ads (just banner ads) & the larger puzzles are quite challenging - I only wish there were more of them!

Update 9/14/21: they added an "expert" mode and scared me. It looks hard. *** At first I was disappointed because the smaller puzzles were too simple and not very visually appealing. It's not til you get into the large puzzles that the fun really begins! This game kept me busy for weeks, and every moment I could steal (even in the restroom at work, and while waiting at stoplights in the car!) I was playing - so addictive!

I really love this game the only problem i have with it are the ad's that show up on the top on my screen. I will put down what I think is right but it doesn't let me click the bottom row of the graph it gets annoying sometimes I wish I could just take off the ads. I'm at a point where if you don't fit that problem I'm just going to stop playing this game completely I try other picross games and none are as good as this one.

It's nice that this game is getting some love again, but the new UI doesn't fit on my screen. The buttons on the bottom are cut off and can't be fixed. The ads also play sound now, so that's massively annoying. Edit: the UI issue has been fixed but the ads still can't be muted. Bumped up to 4 stars

Easily the best of its type. One star lost from lack of updated content. Been playing since my galaxy s2 epic touch phone. Easy 5 for new content! Lost another 3 stars for forced ads now. Been a couple years since playing. Lots of great news changes, but ads are a hard pass. Removing after a decade.

Game has received massive updates recently that severely ruin the experience. Expert mode is fine but ultimately pointless as the puzzles are the same as classic. The game shows rows and columns where blocks can be input and this cannot be turned off. This used to be my favourite picross game and I would have been much happier just receiving new puzzles, and having the changes to UI being added as options. I hope this changes soon and I will be checking back regularly as I did love this game
