I like the idea of this app, but it always cuts off the top and bottom of the board. It's too bad, because this problem would be easily solvable. I can see that it's recognizing and outlining the entire board, but for some reason, it still insists on cutting off the edges. It would also probably help if there were a way to enable flash, or at least have the app not turn off my phone's flashlight when I take a picture. More light would probably help.

The crop function cuts an inch or so off the top and bottom of what I actually define for it to crop. The auto setting for capturing images doesn't seem to trigger on anything, so it never takes a picture, no wonder the default is set to manual. This app should very easily see my boogie board, capture the image, and then crop the borders. I shouldn't be manually adjusting every image I attempt to take. I might as well just snap a picture of my boogie board with my camera and scrap this app.

this app works fine. people dont seem to know what their phones can and cannot do. but this app does what it was made to do. there was clearly glare on my jot pad but the app didnt register any of it, only the text and shapes i put on the pad. the auto mode works flawlessly, the app picks up the edge of the pad and only what is on the pad, 5 stars there. the manual mode captures well but the cropping tool could use some work. otherwise the app is simple, functional, does what it was made to do.

If you actually have a Jot, instead of some other ewriter, then I think it's pretty good. The best thing about it is the auto feature which scans fast. Yea, the results may not always be the best but I will use this for now, unless I find something better. I use this for grocery lists. Btw- I use Microsoft Lens a lot and that gets better image results but it is not fast.

Very disappointed with this app. Pictures rarely turn out well. Even when one does turn out, the "edit" mode is a joke. My kids wanted to color in their pictures they drew but the edit mode only let's you draw yellow or black lines on top of the image. App is a great idea but horrible, horrible execution. Our family would be much more loyal to this product if they treated this app as an extension of their product as they should!

I like the idea but the scanning feature is flawed. It doesn't pick up the edges of the screen so you can't write from edge to edge. It also doesn't work on small print. You have to write fairly large for the scanning g feature to pick it up. Wish it worked better. Maybe the app could be updated.

It's a great concept. I love the board. I was thinking in my head it would be great if I just pressed a button on the board like the erase button and it saved it right to the app on my phone or tablet. Not scanning or taking a picture. There are note apps for that and you don't need the board then. Going to use it at work instead of killing sticky notes all day to myself.

App takes poor quality photos of the board. Most of the photos capture reflections of light and things in the background. When trying to retake the photo you have to completely close out of the photo mode or it shows the previous photo taken on the edit page. This app needs some serious work, its a brilliant idea. Just terrible execution.
