I thought my borescope may be broken since I haven't used it in a while but after reading the latest reviews I do believe that it is probably just the app that is garbage . Hopefully . Anyway maybe they will come up with an update to make these bore scope useful for more than just a paper weight

With the last update, full screen image is no longer available. The image is now less that half screen. If I had known this was coming, I would have bought a different product.

I can't find a device that will successfully run the app. Device is basically useless going to return it to Lowe's for one with a built in monitor

The app does not work. It allows me to take videos but can not write them to the phone saying permission denied, but upon checking the permissions, my phone says all permissions are permitted. Thinking it was a potential bug in the version, I un-installed and reinstalled. Now I get the same No ET16 Found message that others are getting. I was finally able to get some photos with it after unplugging and plugging three times. This app renders a decent product absolutely worthless.

Not bad, ran into a little problem when I had the scope plugged in first and the app not picking it up. All I did was unplug it, then plug it back into the phone with the app already open. Connected right up and was good to go! There may be a manual that originally came with it that probably tells you that, we bought it at a garage sale for like $20. But it's not needed, just download the app and plug it in, and your good to go. Minimal knowledge or experience to use.

No Longer Works! I am using a fully updated Samsung Galaxy S23+. The app has been updated, un-installed, re-installed, and all permissions have been given. This app and borescope worked about a year ago when I used it last, but not anymore. When I try to click the record button, an error message appears saying "No ET16 Connected". When I try to modify the USB connection settings, the control will not switch control modes. Still waiting for support to get back to me.

Similar to what another reviewer said, the scope no longer works when plugged into the phone. It lights up and the phone detects it, but no video, it says no ET16 connected, though it obviously is. Tried flipping the plug, tried reinstalling the app. I'm using a Pixel 8, all current updates installed. While this thing was never great it used to be at least satisfactory. Now, I can't even get a picture, making it worthless. This doesn't live up to the quality I expect from Klein.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Phone and have the Klein Tools Scope App downloaded. It works good except for when I take a photo, it says it is saved to Photos. But when you go there there is Nothing ! When I use the video option and save it , it says it goes in the video folder and when I look, it's there. I uninstalled & reinstalled and same thing, is there an update for this App ?
