Brilliant game, with a decent backstory and training system. It's somewhat painful for grinding, but if you can see it through, the results are cool... The game seems to have a bug for the last few days, where the special items (dragon claws, bon bon sparklers, etc.) for each adventure level is missing, and doesn't appear as loot regardless of the victories... when you receive a victory on the adventure level, the game also hangs and doesn't respond. Please have this fixed.

Really fun game, very original for a card game with a fun twist. Could easily be 5 stars and arguably one of the better phone games available. Unfortunately do to the pay-to-win nature combined with the complete lack of skill based matchmaking, I mean having played one match and being put up against someone on gold II, maxed out epic cards. What a complete disappointment.

I've been playing for a few years now, and it's one of my favorite games of all time! It's not focused on grinding several hours a day like many games now, but rather popping in a few times a day for a smooth, gradual progression over a long period of time. The game provides a very satisfying and unique experience with a great community. Overall, Spellstone's "long term" style has managed to consistently maintain my interest longer than another game, which is why it definitely deserves 5 stars.

Actually really enjoyed this game. Liked the cards, mechanics, art style. It was cool. But when I lost my phone and redownloaded the game on my new one all progress was gone. Kept my profile but made me start all over. Tech was no help, blatantly telling me I used another name when I knew I hadn't. Super frustrating considering how much time I'd invested.

Looked great at first, the art and idea is really good. Unfortunately, there's not really an option for strategy, except which card you put down first. Would be better if you could play cards in between cards that are already on the board. You can't win anything of off strategy or skill, the best cards win. PvP is very heavily pay to win, since you can't compete with just free cards. The matchmaking is unbalanced. The prices of the cards are also outrageously high in comparison to other games.

So many years this game has been out and i always find myself coming back to it. You may think that is a good thing but it means i keep deleting it too. The grind is still absolutely insane and the appalling lack of energy is still one of the biggest problems in this game and results in boredom of only being able to play 5 mins a day

Started off easy to get the hang of things, unfortunately things just get extremely difficult and getting gold, materials, and gems are slim to none. it's pretty obvious it wants you to pay for things for the long haul. Definitely not f2p friendly. I planned on giving the game more time to see if anything would change and then it began crashing everytime. Needless to say I uninstalled.

Really big fan of CCGs, and a former player of Tyrant. picked this up and played until I was in a top 10 guild, and realized very quickly the money sink that it would take to stay competetive long-term. In order to buy into what you need to stay at the top, you either have multiple copies of every chase or you stay out of the top 10. Good enough game, though.
