When using the phone, the App takes over the phone volume controls. So if you are playing music for someone in one room you can't take a call in another and change the phone call volume in the normal way, or watch a clip on YouTube etc. Users have been complaining about this for over 4 years, but the developers have done nothing about it. Other streamers don't have this issue.

I previously wrote the following but the issue seems to have settled and sorted itself out. Upgraded this to 4 stars. 'Used to be an excellent app which worked together with the Node 2i brilliantly. Last update left me struggling with the sound - intermittent and, sometimes, not at all till I had restarted the Node. The latest update has left me unable to find the player at all but I can play via Spotify. In other words not ideal at all.'

If you add CDs to your external hard drive the BluOS Controller doesn't recognise them instantly. You need to go through a lengthy process of disconnecting your wifi, then your routers, then your hard drive, and if you're lucky it might recognise the new added CDs. There's also no equaliser in the app. All this should be easy to program but they cannot do it ... Very unsatisfactory experience. Thx for the reply. It works if l follow all the steps mentioned by you.

I am struggling big time with the integration with Spotify. Spotify would not list my speaker as available device. However, when I start the Spotify app from the Bluos Controller app then it works. However the volume control then can be done only from Bluos and not from Spotify. Also the same issue for changing of album or Playlist. Last couple days I had been very disappointed from this last update... Extra info: I have an Android phone

Amazingly unreliable. Randomly stops working and loses connection to my powernode at least once a month. The Spotify connect API integration is also awful. When playing music directly from Spotify, sometimes it will play a song and when the next song begins the change is not registered in the app so it thinks it's still the first song. Then when the second song ends it freezes and resumes 10 minutes later. Support has been entirely ignored my support request.

With Last Update amazon music crashed , and it also seems I was logged in into someone's account?! As I logged into mine - still hasn't worked. Now, there is an issue with favorites in tune in in the app. These are being deleted for the 4th time... maybe after an update or after using the app on other device. Pls fix the issue

I initially found the bluOS to work seamlessly, but recently it's integration with streaming services has faltered, significantly. choose whichever streaming service for hi resolution sound, tidal, qobuz, Amazon unlimited and the functionality of simple features which I value, 1 repeat, and it does not work. After two weeks of messaging with bluOS support, resetting each device, reboots, reconfiguring, no luck. it used to work, what happened?

Manages my multiple BlueSound devices very well. The Qubuz integration could be a lot better.... no ability to set any kind of sort order... which becomes an issue when scrolling through hundreds of favorites, looking for an album, track or playlist. Has an excellent sleep timer which I depend upon. Shows battery life on battery powered speakers. Allows me to have main speakers on at a good volume, while adjusting other speakers in the house or on the patio to their own, respective volumes.
