Overall, pretty fun. But whenever I open the app nowadays, I just get a black screen (fixed). I also backed the kickstarter for it wayyyyy back when (even got the shirt) and it doesn't seem like any of thr benefits from previous iterations of the game carry forward. Edit: new problem; the app doesn't seem to track my walks/raids after I put my phone in my pocket for a few minutes.

I have been trying the new version, which is finally available for my phone, and I'm quite enthused. They added back some of the game play that it better than Stride. I find myself more interested in exploring new areas now that there's a reward for doing so. Unfortunately, I'm older and my knees are not what they used to be, so earning gold can be harder. I don't like paying to play, but being able purchase gold in some fashion might be helpful.

I've been in the same age (atomic) for a long time now. At one point I've started progressing but now back to 0%. Nothing else to achieve at the moment. Generally speaking, I like the idea but I think it should be made more competitive. Would love to connect in game with my mates and interact more than capturing each other castles. As of now I already got bored of it.

Great idea but it quickly gets boring. There is something missing, maybe more PvP action, zone controlling or anything that would make the game more dynamic and complex. Also, please fix the strava integration, it's linked but none of my run are synced. I'm quickly losing interest, even tho it made me add extra late night run at the beggening.

Generally good game! Good graphics, good ideas to frequently exercise. However, the many bugs, and ability to not exercise to progress ruin the platform upon which it builds. Examples: One bug is the amazing pyramid which i'm asked to build but is not among my options. Also not syncing new workouts that i commit through strava (yes, done all the tricks in the faq). It imported workouts from the past month though, upon first link. Also, i fail to see what we need the resources for...

Promising concept, somewhat compromised by "pay-to-play" options. The option to watch ads and double your score is one unfortunate compromise. Buying jewels to multiply earnings is a second. The lack of a desktop view unnecessarily complicates route planning. Finally the lack of details on the wiki makes it harder to understand and play.

Good craftsmanship. Poor game design. Its fun until you realize you have to demolish all your progress each time you go to the next era and the bar for progression increases exponentially. Also no support for android back button so you always have to click the x in the app and im constantly minimizing the app by mistake. Uninstalled after a 5 days when it again cleared all my progress after leveling up and I realized that this is by design.

I could give this game 5 stars if the bugs were worked out. Solid concept and compelling dynamic really motivated me to run further and more often. I could also give this game 1 star. The game is very buggy. Runs often fail to register, which is super frustrating after a long tiring run. It only works when connected to the internet, and it uses tremendous amounts of mobile data. I hit my monthly data limit in 2 weeks, and this game used more data in those 2 weeks than all my other apps combined.
