Did *not* reset the channel and ID on my Flashpoint R2T II O, for what that's worth! But: Makes you create a useless account, but at least only requires email or phone and a password. Needs sliders or *some* way to make larger adjustments versus tapping by 0.1 / 0.3 steps. "APP [sic] update" in settings (a) is redundant with the Play Store and (b) responds with a toast (short pop-up message) in Chinese.

The manual for mi X2T trigger shows I can use mi phone's camera to take pictures with this app, the trigger and flash, but I guess my Xiaomi smartphone is not on the list of compatible devices, which is weird since all modern smartphones have decent cameras. Update your list of compatible devices please. Everything else works as expected. This is not a review of the trigger, just the app.

Unacceptably buggy. The registration process is invasive. Using an R2 Pro Mark II controller, pressing the modeling light button or beep button causes the controller to reset to channel 0 and lose communication with the flashes. There is no way to select a Godox X1R/Flashpoint R2 receiver, and the app won't control flashes until you select something, so I guessed the V680 II would be close enough. This truly horrible app is so much worse than using the menus on the controller itself.

You have to set up an account and log in to do anything. It reset my flash trigger to Ch 00 and can't see where to enter the channel in the app. Trying it a second time, I had to go through the whole Bluetooth connection thing and enter the password again. Instructions are hidden under "Me" and even though I set my language to English, they're all in Chinese. It's totally useless.

Dont usually review apps, but there are a lot of 1 star reviews based on the account setup. There is an option in the login/signup to use an email (I reg with my junk account) instead of a phone number and that worked for me. Not a bad app, for the most part does what it says and connects well with an xpro2 and I find it very handy to have a larger interface to make adjustments on. Here's hoping they keep it updated as it's missing the new QTiii series in the head selection

Sign up for an account just to control flash?! What the hell have you been smoking out there? The app loses connection, so every time I start it I forced to re-pair connection. Adding a group I need to specify flashes in the group. Are you kidding?! I move my flashes from group to group on regular basis. The app asks for location permission. Simply junk. Avoid it.

Godox forces you to have an account to use the app. This means you have to register with a mobile phone number. To verify they "text" a confirmation code, which never comes. Without an account, you can NOT enter the app to use a single feature. Kinda feel cheated here guys. When I read about the awesome features of this expensive hardware, I didn't factor in the buggy software being a dead end! If you want to be used by professionals, this can't happen!

I'm not making a login to use my Bluetooth flash transmitter.
