I like the fact to be able to use the phone as remote if the harmony remote is not hand. In general the harmony hub with the physical remote works well and integrates all AV hardware transparently in one remote (TV,Cable-tuner,Radio,Ampli,CD). The setup took however some configuration time till all devices worked as expected. In the meantime I exchanged my cable-tuner with an ip one and the setup experience was great. After I entered my provider name in the pc app I even got the program icons.

The android app is just an absolute mess. Can't select anything since there is no "continue" button... Eg when adding a new device using the search, selecting the device from the "did you mean ..." Suggestions. Iphone app looks just as bad but at least functions so far..

Doesn't allow for (your) customisation of the interface or direct control of individual devices. Many functions that are on your device(s) are not available in the lists for you to control. Great if all you want to do is have one activity turned on at a time... I have a 3 zone system that I want to control; it's not possible with harmony remotes. Basically, because of their "we know better" attitude, their devices are seriously flawed. It seems that they have dumbed down the features lately.

No longer logs in to make changes. I have always been able to edit my activities on this app for both Harmony hubs which I have. Recently something has changed and can no longer log in to my account to edit the app, I can only do editing on the web on my laptop. When I attempt to make changes to the activities on the app it tries and then gives an error for the login I realize Logitech has stopped supporting this app but still can't figure out why this has recently changed? Sucks.

Edit: After searching Reddit, I found the Roku setting that needed to be update for fluid IP control. I would have been fine keeping IR control. Most stars because the app works, but fewer stars for solving breaking changes. Some update forced my Roku from IR to IP control. The delay has made the remote unusable. There is no way to revert it, and app keeps "upgrading" any hacked IR set up back to IP based.

This used to work well on my Android phone. Over the last two months I have noticed that it will show the installed Roku apps under the STAR tab. If I click any of the apps under the STAR tab. my Roku TV will issue four beeps and does not start the app I chose. I removed all my apps from the Roku TV, reinstalled them and then updated the favorites under the STAR tab. Still the same issue! Is this because this is a Logitech Europe app now?

No longer working properly. It was great for years, but now commands don't send to my devices, it says "please wait" forever, cannot connect to my devices half the time, Alexa doesn't connect anymore (this is why I paid a lot of money for it!), and even sync fails sometimes. When it does randomly connect to my devices (like my PS3 - I still use it), it is so delayed that it's pointless. Please fix and keep supporting it! It's literally the only device that does these features.

I was under the impression that Harmony was the gold standard for universal remote software. Evidently not. It took many attempts to pair the app with the hub, eventually I gave up and used the Windows software instead which did work. Then after setting up all my devices (also a horrible experience, the app UX is atrocious) I finally paired a companion remote with the hub only for this to break communication between the hub and the app. Just use separate remotes, it's less hassle.
