The goal of the LUCIDream app is to help you take control of your dreams!

Below is the easiest way to practice for Lucid Dream control:

1) input the average time you go to sleep and wake up, then press "Start"
2) when you hear the periodic daytime 'Reality Check' sound while you're awake, look at your hands and count your fingers [this consciously programs your mind to associate the reality check sound with a reality check test]
3) when you hear the periodic sleeptime 'Reality Check' sound while in a dream, look at your hands and count your fingers [once you've developed the habit, you will subconsciously remember to perform reality check tests when you hear the sound]
4) typically in dreams your hands/fingers will look strange, and you will immediately realise you're in a dream
5) take control of the, now, lucid dream!

There are several other methods, however, this is widely agreed as the simplest and most effective method.

The purpose of the 'Check Sound' randomly playing during the day is to program your subconsciousness to perform a Reality Check when you hear the unique sound.

The magic occurs when the Check Sound happens during your sleep while dreaming.

At the right volume, the Check Sound will gently penetrate your dream (not wake you), and you will habitually do a reality check.

At this point, you can often take control of the dream and do whatever you want!

Lucid Dreaming could happen within a few days or weeks, it takes a little practice..
