The Solventum Mobile Microphone is a mobile application that allows clinicians to dictate using the Solventum Fluency Direct Desktop Application without the need for a physical microphone attached to the PC. Once the mobile application is paired one time with a Solventum Fluency Direct User ID, the user of the application can dictate using Solventum Fluency Direct running on any physical desktop or virtual device without a need for docking, Bluetooth or physical connections. The application uses secure data transmission to stream audio from the mobile device directly to Solventum Fluency Direct running elsewhere. It builds on the same cloud-based Solventum Speech Understanding (tm) technology powering all Solventum solutions, so existing clinician voice profiles can be used easily and instantly for optimal accuracy.We are currently offering version 4.0.0.12. 'okay' transcribing. Easy enough to use for basic functions, but not super easy to train for advanced functions. Got a new pixel 6 pro. Switched over without problems. Worked as usual for a couple weeks. Now the app opens for a brief second and then shuts down. Can't get it to connect. Not sure what happened. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Rebooted phone. Rebooted computer. Tried multiple computers. Old phone still connects, so at least I have a fix. But definitely not convenient. HELP

Using mobile mic always freezes resulting in having to end the program via task manager and relaunch which is painfully slow to reload.... Like several minutes. And will happen again within a half hour. Same thing occurs regardless of using different computers and mobile devices. Total garbage. I'm sure corporate contracts are the reason they stay in business

Originally, this app worked great. However, over the last 6 months it has been quite buggy. It often times out and is non-functional for 5 to 10 seconds then will only be functional for another 5 or 10 seconds and keeps cycling in this pattern. I now give it a one star simply because it is no longer working and is totally unusable. If this were fixed I am sure it would be a valuable tool. However, I'm going to have to change my assessment of this product for now.

The latency introduced by this app and the fact that our hospital system forces us to use it when working remotely rather than just allowing me to use a proper dictaphone plugged into my USB port over Citrix makes it infuriating. NOT APPROPRIATE FOR CLINICAL USE! If you added the ability to select an external USB microphone in android and iOS versions then I could maybe make it usable on my phone. Thankfully it works ok with bluestacks, which allows me to use a usb microphone on my computer.

Microphone stopped working today worked yesterday app won't open on an Android. Says there is a bug that needs a software update. Please help. Use this for work every day.

This app is just as garbage as Mmodal. How people still sell this kind of software is beyond my imagination. I had no choice but to use this junk software for almost 2 years and no one has even able to offer any solution why I have been having so much connection issues in addition to dictation issues. I found this whole thing incredibly frustrating and should not be another source of stress in a already highly stressful job. I will be so happy when idiotic people stop making this kind of junk.

Poor voice recognitions, far behind widely available alternatives. The app is hugely error prone, while the idea is great sadly it rarely works. Unfortunately not usable at all on my current phone, as the app doses not recognise the pin generated by mmodal and states incorrect despite entering correctly
