Many has heard about such things, as the session hijaking, wifi kill, steal cookies, or a spoofing of network traffic. It can be a long talk about what can do the dirty dog with necessary tools in open networks... This application is designed for anyone who is serious about the security of personal data and does not intend to tolerate such antics in open wi-fi networks.

Base functions:
• Protection from any network attacks, beginning with the arp spoofing/arp poisoning.
• Three Program modes (warning, invulnerability, recovery).
• Auto Off Wifi when it detects an attack in non-root mode carried out on you (set out in settings).
• Notification about attack (vibration, sound, a notice containing information on the attack).
• When superuser mode is available to you, making your device immune to such attacks (using a static gateway address). There is no need of such like warning in this mode.

Extra features available for unlocking:
• Functions of permanent job, allow you to add an application to the startup, as well as to prohibit the system to unload the program from memory. Once the application is launched, you can no longer worry about personal information.
• AD removal from the application.

I like being aware. fyi: you can fix the bug in the newer Android operating system that keeps making it not get the location so I could stop having to uninstall and reinstall the app every week and a half --when my OS decides to take away its permission even though I've told my OS not to... I don't know you need to declare what you need in your app because my system keeps breaking it.

The main reason I use this app is to disconnect my device from wireless routers I do not wish to connect with. There are apps or system apps on my phone that automatically connect me to a wireless network in range. I shut off every switch possible without success. Until I root my device, I may never know which apps are responsible for this action. Until then, ARP Guard is my best defense to protect me from my device automatically connecting to wireless routers other than my own router at home!

not sure it works... I have static IPS on all my network devices. If it's looking for a static public IP - wifi routers rarely actually have those.... but my main router - off the WAN port of the wifi router does actually have a static public IP... if that's what it's looking for - it's not finding it... also spoofed access points are kinda rare... it's easier to connect to your access point and sniff traffic then it is to spoof an access point...

This app detect detected a network change when bssid looked the same to me when scanned there were then two networks with what looked like the same BSSID. Also this app correctly detected Wifi intrusion with intrusion detection 3 times. Amazing for what appears to be such a simple unassuming app. Some apps I paid for were not as good, despite better graphics.

Works great! I tested using a Python library called Scapy, it allows me to spoof MAC addresses. ARP Guard detected the irregularity and notified me. Also detected a public Best Buy network that my phone was connecting to automatically, it was the store I bought my phone from and I forgot to turn off auto connect to WiFi. ARP Guard essentially acts like an IDS, it won't stop or prevent unwanted connections but it will do its job letting you know when another device is connecting.

I just thought I should leave a review for you guys I really like this app. I go to college and there's internet available to everyone, I like using this app to help protect myself especially because getting a degree in network security and some people like to fool around with the network. I also find it pretty interesting that the FINE_LOCATION permission is requested when getting the BSSID and SSID information I think Google needs to have these permissions associated with something else it could throw some people off.

I must admit that I was sceptical to say the least regards this apps claims. I did however install it upon its word. I can now say that I am definitely delighted I did so, not only has the ARP Guard (WiFi) secured all of my android devices as well as speeding all of them up very nicely thank you. I don't hand out top marks to all apps but I do reward trust and reliability which I've been met with by this apps provider. Security is Secure.

The app does detect attacks coming from Netcut users and it's correct information, it shows their IPs and Mac adresses but it doesn't protect against the attack itself. Wish there's a way to protect myself from wifi killing without having to root my unrootable phone.
