I downloaded My Smitch expecting a smooth experience, but unfortunately, the app is not working properly. I encountered try again later issue all the time, which made it unusable. I reached out to their support team via email, but I haven't received any response. Poor customer support and unresolved issues make this app disappointing. I hope the developers take user feedback seriously, and fix it soon

The My Smitch app suddenly stopped working, and even after trying multiple times, it still doesn't work. Have tried by reinstalling the app as well, but no luck. Every time showing internet unavailable. Kindly check and help fixing the issue. I've sent an email as well to the support team, but no response yet.

Everything was good till few months back and it worked amazing for me. Now every week the linking with alexa is expired and I have to update it manually. Once linking expired, I can't control the devices or all the routines fail. I am not sure why sessions are getting expired. A huge setback to an automation. I went out for couple of weeks and all my lights were switched on just because the session was expired. It costed me huge electricity charges and wastage of energy.

Sometimes it auto turns off dark mode. 🙄🙄 And most of the time it doesn't show power consumption stats. It might because smitch has decided to stop showing it after one week of using the new smart plug, so that they can save space in their server, so is the money. Is it not called cheating? Yes, it is. Unreliable company. Update: Smitch customer support team helped me to fix this issue. 👍 Update 2: schedule doesn't work if app runs in background. Very dangerous.

Gets the work done, though there are lots of improvements to make. Permissions look a bit sketchy, hope no personal data is being leaked. This could have been the best hardware for young programmers to get into IoT if the code was customisable, considering there are so many bugs there now. Geeks (me included) would have loved to tinker with the code to get more features out of it. Hoping lot more stable release in future updates. Some toggles really persist even after turned off.

The My Smitch app suddenly stopped working, and even after trying multiple times, it still doesn't work. While I enter my Email ID and password, or even if I try to reset by opting 'Forgot Password', it isn't responding and is unable to send email. Have tried by reinstalling the app as well, but no luck. Kindly check and help fixing the issue. I've sent an email as well to the support team, but no response yet.

Simple, easy to use and mostly functioning app. I'm using it with a 10W RGB bulb. There are a few bugs such as the default brightness isn't maxed out even when the brightness and temperature sliders are set to the max - you have to manually choose the white colour option for it to activate the full brightness mode for it to act like a normal bulb. Other than that, I'd also like to see a basic webapp to control the smart appliances through a computer, and not just rely on the smartphone apps for it. Also there is extremely limited number of lighting modes available. The ideas are there, such as the music mode but how about detecting music directly from the phone instead of relying on the mic? I love the music mode the best right now but I think that polishing it a bit more and making it integrate with the music player directly would be a big step up from current functionality. We need more lighting modes, such as breathing mode, colour cycling, custom colour cycling, specific values of r, g and b separately for the precise colour instead of approximating from a colour wheel etc. It would be great if the makers can implement IFTTT functionality with this, so that we can tie it to notifications from various apps, especially calendars. That would be the best feature. But for the price of the bulb, it's overall a good expereince.
