Play with the Twenty-Nine rules you like! NeuralPlay's Twenty-Nine offers many rule options for you to customize the game to your liking.
Rule customizations include:
• Notrump. Allow no trump suit to be chosen by declarer. There will be no trump suit during play.
• 7th card. Make the 7th card dealt to the declarer determine the trump suit. This card is visible to the declarer when dealt, but will not be revealed to other players until the trump suit is revealed during play.
• Double. After the trump suit choice but before the second deal, the defenders will be given the option to double the bid.
• Redouble. After a double, the declaring team will be given the option to redouble the double.
• Single hand. After the second deal, players will be given the option to play a single hand. A single hand is played with notrump and without a partner against both opponents. The declarer of the single hand must capture all 8 tricks.
• Marriage (pair) bonus. When a player has both the king and queen of trump in hand at the time trump is revealed, a bonus of 4 points is received.
• Cancel invalid deals. Some hands are invalid, when this occurs the hand will be redealt.
• Reveal trump. Choose to reveal trump either automatically before the first discard or ask before discarding.
• Point for last trick. Award 1 point for capturing the last trick, making the maximum possible score 29 points instead of 28 points.
• Play direction. Choose the play direction to be either clockwise or counterclockwise.
• Bidder trump lead. Choose to allow bidder to lead trump before it has been revealed.
• Bidding style. Choose to allow bidding only the minimum legal bid or any bid between the minimum and maximum legal bids.
• Leading. Choose either the dealer or the player after the dealer to be the initial leader.
• Minimum bid. Set the minimum bid from 14 to 17 points.
• Half bid penalty. Capturing less than half of one's bid is a double point penalty.
• 21 or more bonus. Bids of 21 or more points are worth double points.
• Undertrump. Allow the discard of a trump card of rank lower than a higher ranking trump card already on the trick.
• Game over. Choose whether the game ends at a predetermined number of points or after a certain number of hands.
Twenty-Nine (29) is also known as Twenty-Eight (28). With NeuralPlay Twenty-Nine, you can play to a score of either 29 or 28 by choosing to award a point for the last trick or not.

Worst gaming platform ever I have played. The opposition knows everything before revealing the cards. They get all the points cards. And the partner plays worse than a 5 year child. He always try to get defeated. The most important thing this is not AI expert game. This is just one sided game. 🤮🤡🤧

Request: 1) In 29, the way we play, we don't shuffle much. It is just 2 or 3 cuts max. So the hands are often better in real life than what we get in this game. If the code can be modified to incorporate this feature (can be optional in settings) it would be great. 2) if the bidder cannot score the set goal, and instead the opponent scores the same as the 'goal', then double penalty. 3) If the opponent cannot score a single trick (I'm not talking about zero points only), then double points....

Same game are repeats again and again. Most of all the player in the North i.e your own partner is the most foolish player I ever saw. I change the level of the game bt same foolishness was there. Actually your own partner is most of the time cause that you lost the game. It's giving some foolish leads, some times odd calls where he have nothing in his hand. It is the most frustrating part of the game. So I give 2 star so that developer keep improving.

● [Date: 28/07/2020] Almost all options (rules) are present except one. If bidder (team) manages to get all tricks must be rewarded with +1 point ... can't find this rule. Please add this rule. ● [Date: 29/08/2020] If all tricks are played but neither bidder's team nor opponent's team reveals trump card then that hand should be cancelled too. I found this rule is also missing. Please add it to the customized rule set. Thank you in advance!!

Have been playing 29 for years now. This App is one of the best options for realistic AI when there are no human players around. Highly customizable. One suggestion - it'd be great if the score can be displayed traditionally, i.e. uncovered pips on a six.

Cards shows in big size for weak vision people , a very good feature to the old people, thanks to the maker of the app. Level 6 is the hardest one. 29 Players want more higher level(impossible level). Nice app ,no vulgar things .

This is a good game with lots of features and improved gui and few or no ads at all. But I must suggest the developer needs to change the 7th card rule. The game continues even when there is no trump card on hand after calling 7th card as trump... They need to change that. Typically if u dont have any power card in your hand after calling 7th card, the game wont continue...

If you are a beginner, then this is the best thing for you. Choose your settings as you want, the AI is on point, go back as much as many tricks as you want to see all possible outcomes. Great for learning the game.
