I think a very good aspect of this app is how everything is computed locally, and I don't need to send my scan to a server if I don't want to... though, it also has a downside since my phone is kind of slow and processing each scan would take 10 minutes.

This was a amazing app! This let's me do so much. My favorite part is that how it's free and let's me use it online and more. and this will give me alot of interest! The quality is so good! I give this a 5 stars because this is a master piece. I don't even need a lidar camera! But also I really hope you guys put video or images to 3d object. Just in case I have a broken camera or just don't want to scan live and just simple instead.

Great idea, but doesn't work whatsoever. It keeps throwing "Scan Error" on my Galaxy S10. This phone is ARCore depth compatible, but the app doesn't do anything. I hope to figure out a fix. I really love this idea

The iOS app and Scaniverse generally are perfect. It's just the android app that has some catching up to do. But it's pretty new, so it's reasonable. The only issue I've been having with it so far is that it is giving me the Limited GPU processing capacity, which I don't get, as my phone is pretty powerful (i think). (Samsung S20 Ultra, Exynos) It makes the scanning really slow, making it barely usable. (for me, at least) I don't know if it can be resolved, but I'd really love it if it could.

Works really well with gaussian splatting, provided you have a lot of data. One scan I rendered out an found it didn't pick up nearly anything in a place where I only covered once, and it'd be nice if I could add data to an existing scan somehow without redoeng it entirely. Processing is fast enough that the scene didn't change in that time.

This app is truly amazing! It offers a few great features and has no ads or anything. It just works right out of the box. Highly recommend it to everyone!

Apps with multiple cameras keeps switching uncontrollably with range, set options to lock lens selection please. It shouldn't be jumping from macro to ultrawide constantly. Also, focus distance for camera should be able to be manually selected --auto-focus constantly is focusing on the background, maybe an option to click to focus on area would be helpful. Great app overall, can processing be moved to on-device?

Scaniverse is one of the best 3D scanning apps available that works without requiring a network connection. However, there seems to be a bug with exporting models. When attempting to export in GLB format, an error message appears stating, "There was an error preparing your scan to be uploaded." Additionally, exporting in OBJ format results in empty models. Once these issues are resolved, this app has the potential to be an incredibly useful tool for scanning objects into 3D!
