About N-Com:
The N-Com – Nolan Communication System division was established in 2005.
The idea was to develop a communication system specifically for Nolangroup helmets, completely integrated inside the helmets, without altering the requirements in terms of look, comfort and compliance with applicable standards. This objective was successfully pursued by the Group which, starting in 2006, launched on the market a modular range of communication kits. The intuition turned out to be a winner.

The application makes it easy to configure the headset and set up bluetooth devices and radio station presets. However, you cannot connect to the devices/presets to connect to. That has to be done using the buttons on the unit. Also, the application doesn't look like the pictures shown on the Google Play Store (which look very much like the Sena application). It would be great if the application was upgraded to include the function of the Sena app (seeing that the unit runs on Sena tech).

Similar faults as the previous iteration of the app. Fails to recognise paired devices, won't pass the open screen, unable to connect (via this app) despite all other apps coping fine. None value added. #disappointed #uninstalling.

Lots of potential, but a few annoying bugs and missed opportunities. Frequently drops connection with my B901LR and the app must be restarted to re-establish the connection despite the unit having a good BT connection with my phone. Doesn't include a battery level indicator! Why on earth you wouldn't include this is beyond me. Even the simplest bluetooth devices report their battery level via their app.The battery level is so awkward to attain from the unit that you'd expect it to be the very first feature added to the app, yet it isn't there. Also, how does the pairing list work? What does it do? Neither the app nor the manual provide any explanation. This app is an excellent idea and makes features like programming the radio and speed dial much more convenient, but it seems incomplete and still needs work to live up to its potential.

Doesn't work without Camera and Location permissions. I don't see why would those be needed to change my N-com device settings. Additionally it asks for "Allow modifying system settings" permissions on every start. Although the app works without granting that permission. lf it's not needed then don't be annoying about it on every start.

Hmmm. I have the Nolan N100-5 and N-Com B901L R series comms unit. It's obviously a Sena app and I have not had issues with them for my Sena devices. It finds the N-com OK and reports the current settings. It also says it's adjusting settings when you change them via the app, however, for the ESS light it does not change anything and I have to use the comms unit keys to change settings. Any ideas? Updated 27.12.19 after trying out the advised method - this worked. I expected the changes to work straight away (after writing the data) and had not expected to have to turn the headset off and on again. Now that I know that it's fine - perhaps the instructions could be clarified. Rating upgraded.

Shamefully bad i have to repair my headset manually for the app to see that it's connected randomly disconects my headset when i make a call.

Still won't recognise any N-Com paired devices (tried a few). Useless app for a very expensive communication device.

Making calls and listening to music is fine, but Google maps voice direction doesn't seem to work. Never got the universal comm to work with any of my friends non-Ncomm sets.
