A point-and-click escape room! The Legacy series continues with Legacy 2: The Ancient Curse, a classic point-and-click adventure game inspired by the timeless classics of the '90s, now updated with modern graphics and controls.
This game picks up immediately after Legacy: The Lost Pyramid, but don’t worry if you haven’t played the previous title! The game will fill you in on the background story at the start.
When your brother disappeared in the Pyramid, only one person was capable of following in his footsteps—you. Now you’ve ventured deeper into the ruins than anyone could have imagined, and you’re faced with even greater challenges. Hopefully, you will find your brother again, but are you prepared for the secrets the Pyramid holds? Can you both escape, or will there have to be a sacrifice?
This game is packed with puzzles and hidden objects. More than twice the size of the first title, it will put you to the test with logical puzzles and memory challenges. The difficulty of the puzzles varies throughout the game: some are easy and quick to solve, while others will truly challenge you. Find objects, discover hidden items, spot clues in the environment, and solve mini-games—this game has it all.
If you get stuck, don’t worry. The game includes a fantastic hint system that will nudge you in the right direction. If that’s not enough, the hints will gradually become more revealing, eventually showing the full solution. This ensures smooth, relaxing gameplay while still respecting your intelligence and puzzle-solving abilities.
At the start, you can choose to play in either Normal or Hard mode. In Hard mode, the hint system is disabled, providing a real challenge for experienced point-and-click adventure players.
To aid you, you have a camera with you, allowing you to take photos of anything you see inside the ancient Pyramid. No need to write notes or take manual screenshots using your phone or tablet!
This is a remaster of the game released a few years ago. The entire game has been rebuilt from the ground up, with improved controls and stunning graphics, thanks to a new lighting system. Some obscure puzzles from the original version have been removed or revamped to enhance the overall gaming experience.
The game is fully 3D—look around, walk around, and explore as if you were in a real place.
What are you waiting for? Adventure awaits! Play this point-and-click escape room adventure now!

It's a similar feeling to the "Faraway" series, but much better in my opinion. This focuses more in the navigating/finding objects/clues for the appropriate areas. VS the 1st Legacy, this has a better environment, immersion and story, but it has quite a few repeating mini-game puzzles, whereas the original was unique with every puzzle. I can't fault the design much, as I didn't get stuck trying objects at random areas much, but I needed hints for where to use the pierced ball and find the wire.

I am amazed how one mind can create such great games. The story has the perfect amount of relevance, some riddles are easy, some a lot of fun and some drive me nuts and couldn't solve them without the walkthrough. The games are all beautiful and match the theme of the story. I really hope, David makes some (a lot) money with his creativity!

A nice point and click game. 😊 I love David's games. The mapping system makes the game much easier to follow. There is also a wonderful hint system integrated into the game. Love It !! 😍The puzzles are a perfect difficulty .. never too hard and never too easy. I definitely recommend playing the entire Legacy series from start to finish. Thanks David. 🫡

Best point-and-click adventure I've played in ages, and well worth the nominal fee! Both the gameplay and plot reminded me of Shadowgate and The Uninvited, with some Professor Layton-esque puzzles scattered throughout (most of which can be brute-forced, though). The "Fast Travel" feature is a very helpful QoL mechanic for backtracking through the pyramid, and the Hint System gives just the right level of nudging for when I've overlooked or forgotten about something. Great job, and thanks, David!

I love the span of the puzzles, they have a lot of back and forth. I also love the lack of hints. It requires deductive logic and thought. I've gotten stuck a few times, but thats part of the experience. I also like the simplicity of the presentation. It's a game By David, no massive flair, no overboard frills. Just a mystery puzzle game pure and simple.

Got stuck/lost a lot more than the first one. A couple of the puzzles required very specific placement that I tried a couple times and failed - making me think I must have to do something else first, but evidently just had the wrong angle or was off by a couple pixels. Still overall enjoyable and I am looking forward to playing the next ones in the series. There was also a neat mechanic (that I won't spoil) toward the end, that almost won back the 5th star, but not quite.

One of the best. Kudos to the programmer. On the negative side, because the images are dark and complex navigation can be difficult. The jump points help, but the map images can be difficult. With 24 or more rooms, i often found a walkthru helpful, not to solve puzzles. But simply to get somewhere i knew i needed to go. Waiting for the next version impatiently. For those who enjoyed this, I'd recommend Lost City while waiting for the next installment

2nd is much longer than the 1st and more difficult, but still very enjoyable! I like that you have different endings (don't worry, I won't spoil it). There is quite a lot of going back & forth, so the markers showing if you got everything done in a specific area is really helpful, but it would be nicer if you can fast travel to any room. Also, really liked that special move in room 15, it was completely unexpected & very creative!! Now on to the 3rd!!!
