편의점 아르바이트를 하며 하루하루 생계를 연명하는 근로청소년 윤진명.
어느 날 진명은 일을 마치고 집으로 돌아오다 길바닥에 쓰러져 있는 한 소녀를 발견한다. 진명의 도움으로 소녀는 정신을 차리지만, 소녀는 눈을 뜨자 마자 눈에 보이는 음식들을 닥치는 대로 먹어 치우며 주변을 초토화시킨다. 놀란 진명이 넌 도대체 누구냐고 묻자 소녀는 당당한 얼굴로 ‘세상을 멸망시키기 위해 내려온 죽음의 신’이라고 자신을 소개한다. 소녀를 미쳤다고 판단한 진명은 측은한 마음으로 잠시 동안 만이라도 보살펴 주기로 결심한다.
하지만 진명은 전혀 깨닫지 못하고 있었다.
이 소녀와의 만남이 자신의 삶을 통째로 뒤흔들게 될 것임을.
