The date calculation is based on the modification made by the committee headed by Muhammad Shahidullah under the auspices of the Bangla Academy on 17 February 1966.
This Bangla Calendar comes with a nice widget for your home screen. The widget covers, Day of Week, Bengali Month name and current Bengali year along with the Gregorian calendar details.

We also have a Date time widget that works on home screen and keeps you updated with time.

* Please note , the widget that shows time may not work properly if you are using a built in or third party task killer app. Removing bong Calendar from Task Killer list should solve any such issue.

Also we have a date converter and a Holiday list viewer . Converter allows you to convert the Bengali date to Gregorian date and the opposite as well.

Overall it looks good ... but you have to add more customizing options ... there will be options to customize the font of different time / date like this ... or it will change automatically with the default font. Hope to get the next update. And yes, if the update really gives me the option to do such customization, then I will definitely come back with a 5 ★ rating:

This calendar is pretty good. I love it. But recently facing a problem which is, sometimes the date in widget doesn't update at all. Becoming 2 or 3 days behind and i need to remove and again add that widget to work it again. Please fix this ASAP.

The widget doesn't show arabic dates. If I downloaded a three in one calendar, chances are I want a three in one widget. Also if you could add weather in the app, it would be perfect. Waiting for an update.

If I need an internet connection to open this application then why I'm using this...! My target is to know the date, important events and some other things, if I must have internet connection then why I'll choose this except Google. Goggle is always better option. I know you've made it compulsory to earn from ads, but to keep it user friend you must have to keep flexibility. I recommended many of my friends to use this app but situation is I'm gonna uninstall and to do the same for others.

What do you do with permission for photos and videos? You don't need it, so why take permission? People's personal information will be at risk. What is the guarantee that you won't cheat?
