For such a premium and respected brand, this is an incredibly poor app. It is very complex to use for what it is and feels clunky. Not only that but it seems to randomly disconnect from the receiver so you then have to wait before you can change the song etc. There are also surprisingly limited equalizer settings and not even a "loud" setting. I hope Technics have a complete overhaul and redesign of this app as they're such a great band and this app could and should be perfect, like the receiver

Interface is tired, and lacking in features. Operation is slow and clunky. Frequent disconnects from SA-C600 - Now Playing doesn't update, etc. WiiM home is better in every respect, to the point that, if I was buying today, I'd go for the WiiM amp over the SA-C600. Given it 2 stars because it works, but it's grudging. Really want to give it just 1.

Nice app for my superb Technics SA C600. The features are excellent. Very occasionally, connection is lost to my Amazon Music, and I can't access my content via the app. This is an infrequent occurence and I am very happy with the app.

All is working fine but I have two requests. - when changing the source music stops playing. Please allow for music playback from previous source until sometime hit play on the new source. - can you add option to display more metada nformation from FLAC files? I would like to see Release Year, Label company, Label #

App feels clunky and not on par with Technics hardware. The big streaming apps have much better UX, however you need to fall back to the Technics one to stream in the highest quality. Chromecast support broken after firmware update.

Absolutely abysmal app. Utterly useless. Pot luck whether it works or not. Great speaker, absolute dung of an app! Sign up to Spotify premium to use the speaker as a cast device and it doesn't work. Avoid it like the plague! (edit) - firmware update for the Sc-c50 seemed to help but very quickly the problems returned. Only way to eliminate the unusablility of the app is to connect the speaker to your router via ethernet cable

The device itself make a great job. The app unfortunately works only in addition with a Google home app. I think technics should make their apps without relying on others. In the case of Google home you have to give all of your personal data. Technics is great brand make great audio devices. But they need more stand alone in software. Thanks I hope my criticism was constructive.

Poor but acceptable interface, terrible connectivity issues. Such a pity, I've the sc-c30, it's a lovely speaker, with good sound but made so frustrating and almost unusable because of terrible connectivity issues, it wasn't for Spotify connect (which works reasonably AT TIMES) I'd probably send it back. I've contacted customer support which was frendly to deal with but when asked about software updates replyed - "update releases would be decided based on market feedback" doesn't give much hope
