Only works with bluetooth headphones set to telephony, which significantly reduces the audio quality and disables stereo sound. Also, even with the headphones set to telephony, the gain doesn't go high enough to really be able to hear external sounds well. Update: Thanks for your response. I guess I'll have to try it sometime with my phone not in my pocket.

Those who didn't read the About the app portion run the risk of app running in the background and draining battery even after Stop button is pressed.. Why not make it stop when that button is pressed. We have to push back button twice now to completely close the app. You can make it to close when Stop button is pressed The equaliser doesn't seem to work and remain after frequencies are changed. The settings go back to default settings ie flat.

Good quality, but the audio isn't in real time. It comes in about half a second after, causing the sound to noticeably layer up and cause a speech jammer effect.

Finally found an app that gives you true wireless earbud ambient sound. All other apps I have tried only worked with the phones mic. This one is able to use the earbud mic perfectly!

Only app I could find that would allow environmental sounds to be captured and played back on the same Bluetooth headset at the same time, some latency still tho.
