Precise Volume is a fully-featured Equalizer and audio control utility. It is filled with helpful features with the goal of allowing you to customize your audio to sound exactly how you like it.

This app overrides Android's default 15-25 volume steps and allows you to set a fully custom number. Other apps may give the illusion of having more volume steps, but this app actually has them.

NOTE: Returning users, try turning on Legacy mode. This may get the app working for you again. Go to Settings -> Equalizer Settings -> Legacy mode

Modern science tells us that the volume of our music can be just as important as anything else for connecting emotionally. When volume is too loud or too soft for a given song, emotional connection can be lost.

But Precise Volume doesn't just give you more volume steps. It also contains tons of automation features and customization options, such as:

Fully-Featured Equalizer
- Graphic EQ is your standard (but powerful) 10-band Equalizer
- Auto EQ can automatically adjust sound for your specific headphones (compiled by jaakkopasanen - you rock, dude)
- Bass/Compressor boosts bass!
- Reverb creates a simulated environment around your head
- Virtualizer creates a highly immersive surround sound effect
- Volume Booster can be found under Graphic Eq as "post-gain"
- L/R Balance lowers the volume of the left/right channels
- Limiter boosts volume as it safeguards your audio from going above a certain level, while keeping quality

I can't believe I spent money on this. It only works when the screen is on and the phone is unlocked, even if the settings contradict this. It works somewhat fine otherwise. But even then, the volume can get jumpy at certain increments no matter how many calibration methods you use. The permissions it requires are also kinda scary. I might just try another app or deal with my phone's horrendous settings.

I'm loving this app already and I just downloaded it. It does exactly what I was looking for and taking my volume control on my S24 Ultra/+ (can't even remember exactly what it's called) from a whole 1-8 or 1-15 increments and turned them into 1-100. I found that with the factory settings/UI volume would either be too low or too high with no inbetween. This does exactly what I was wanting. Thano you developer!!!!

surprisingly stable and ad-hassle\annoyance-free performance... it actually sounds good, doesn't crash and has useful features and functions - - - many of which are 'pro version' upgrades.... the cost of upgrading to 'pro version' which, by the way, they should have made that price visible in the menu or the 'about' section that links to Google PlayStore (or launches that app) whenever ready to upgrade. In fact, if it's $5 or less, I'll upgrade right now while I'm into it.

This is a great app with lots of useful features from volume control to an equalizer with lots of well thought out options in between. The best thing about Precise Volume is that with all the functions it doesn't hinder the way you normally use your volume sliders or buttons. They look & react almost the same way, a little better even. Material You design has been applied here so it matches the phones theme just like it normally would. Just try it.

Very good product except for an issue w "requiring" connection to Internet to work... Default Alarm app on my Pixel 7 Pro had same issue, but that's been fixed. I hope the developers see the valid case for the app to continue to work (w whatever warnings & legal speak added to protect them from users) wo network connection. I work in remote areas wo network. I have ear protection w active electronics & enjoying my music is better w EQ, etc.

I downloaded the specifically for the ability to adjust the minimum volume on my phone. I use a Bluetooth speaker in bed at night and I like it being really quiet. The app says that the volume is at 6% where I want it to drop lower. Dropping it down to 2% does nothing. So it says it's doing something but it doesn't seem to do anything. I'm using a Galaxy s24 ultra phone.

So far so good. I got it because my newer Bluetooth speaker has stupid jumps in volume, where one is too quiet and the next volume up is way too loud. Didn't happen with my old speaker. This app fixes that. Have to leave it open to adjust the volume but it's worth it to have the perfect volume level. Plus it's free, can't beat that. No obnoxious ads yet either. 👍💯Good job dev(s) & thank you.🙏 Support & buy pro if you find value in the app & have the means to pay the $6 cost to keep it forever

This app allows me to adjust the volume on my USB/Bluetooth dongle dac much more granularly. Instead of 12 volume steps, where the difference of one step is to loud or soft, this allows you to set however many steps you want. The AutoEQ feature is good, I no longer need to use a separate app for that. The profiles and other features are all useful. This app is worth the money.
