This sounds freakin fantastic, massive improvement over the built in Samsung equaliser. I'd give it five stars if only it didn't "forget" my settings after closing it. I even tried to lock the app so it never closed, yet still after three days my set presets vanished and it was back to 0 on every level and sounding cruddy, even though it stayed open the entire time. I don't want an equaliser that I have to keep resetting to my sound preferences every few days.

After last update the app will close itself if no Google Services are present. I have GrapheneOS without Google Services and it works great as Equalizer. Only problem: the app always closes after 2 seconds and i cannot change any setting anymore! Even though IT WORKS FINE!!! Please remove this stupid force close when no Google Services!!!

The virtualization feature is going to largely depend upon your headphones. Some headphones have a very 'intimate' presentation of their sound - in which case there's little difference that you'll notice. I didn't notice much difference when using the bass boost option with IEM's - they sounded very similar, until about 90%, at which point it sounded too muddy. With the Hifiman HE400i, I noticed an appreciable difference and it makes a lot more sense.

It made my Hifiman Deva sound even better than it does. The device-specific EQ did its job brilliantly! However, what seems to completely fail is the volume normalisation. Although turned on, the loudness differs between tracks so much that I sometimes get a bit shocked.

It took a bit of time to set up, but it's worth it. their help documents weren't any help, just find a youtube guide on how to get this working. Once it is working you can use squiglink to export custom response curves for wavelet, and it allows for better custom curves than any other app. Also, most other eq apps don't even work at all

Only works with music, doesn't work for speech. As a 70 year old Air Force veteran (which destroyed my ability to hear high frequencies) I need something to help me to hear YouTube documentaries and news. I already use XEQ Equalizer which works VERY WELL for music on Spotify... but doesn't work on YouTube. Well, ditto for this app. Uninstalling and continuing my search. 😐

Was having issues with my S24+ not allowing me to adjust levels on 63hz and 125 hz while using android auto via USB. At first I tried using legacy mode and it didn't work with AA. I then turned off legacy mode and it was game on! I had all my EQ adjustments, with extra options I'm yet to explore. This allowed me to get the sound in my truck that I was looking for! I did purchase the pro version and it was totally worth it. Great product for my needs!

Even before the enhanced session was unlocked, I knew I was on to something. The AutoEq Headphone model feature alone made me consider subscribing, but it was even better, dev. made sure they'll give back to the community by a "one time purchase" membership xD Kidding aside, unlocking enhanced session really lifts a user's experience by a mile, a refined experience. Can't wait to hear what the premium sounds like 🎶
