)Has some films and shows unavailable elsewhere, but terrible UI and terrible search functionality.) Feeling slightly unfair to the old review. The commercial time is too long but it has some great movies and TV shows unavailable elsewhere for absolutely Free! Search functionality is again, but I am happy that it gives other streaming locations and information.

Been a plex pass customer for years, but I may be letting this company go. For last few months it's been extremely unreliable. Almost every time I try to use it I have to solve some problem I've never had to be with before. Today can't download any subtitles for any movies but I can enable subtitles for live TV. Last week my HD home run just stopped working with Plex. Had to download channel's DVR and pay them monthly. At this point Plex is just not working anymore. They don't fix anything....

I recently installed your movie app. I watched Reservoir Dogs. Thanks, I've been looking for it. However.....what's up with the two minute ads and only eight minutes of movie? That's insane. Nobody else does that. Most ads are thirty seconds. Even movie apps that you pay for don't have ads that long. Don't think I'll be keeping your app. I gave it 3 stars

so far so good. we've been discovering features like collections after adopting plex. the ability to organize our media into a virtual like folder is handy. especially with our large collection of movies we've bought over the last couple decades. there are too many features to name. Definitely worth checking out if you have media you want to make available in your home.

Google home playback is a disaster, the server takes too long to link up when opening the app, buffers for no reason (yes I adjust settings), and more focus is spent on "new features" then making a reliable product. I've had Plex for over a decade, it's sad. and 10 years later, no Google assistant integration. but hey, we have free movie from 1980 that no one wanted to watch in 1980

Plex works exceptionally well in every way—there’s really nothing more to say. That sums it up in a nutshell. I could go over everything it does and explain how well it performs, but if you’re already using it, you know it simply does everything very well. I've been using Plex for over 10 years, and it has come a long way, especially considering that it now runs smoothly on less powerful hardware. I currently have it running on a very inexpensive laptop, and it performs great. Thank you, Plex!

I have used plex for years on my computer and smart TV and I love it. When I saw that there was an app for my phone I installed it. It said I needed a one-time in-app purchase or to be a subscriber for it to work. I would never have install the app had I known that. I am not sure why the phone setup is different from computer and smart TV. But I'm disappointed Edit 12:12/22 I have since purchased the app. I find it helpful. Very fun. A lifetime subscription is not needed. Recommend.

Plex is garbage tier software on just about every platform that doesn't involve a web browser. It's buggy, there are constant issues with errors and disconnections, subtitles don't work at all 80% of the time even though the app itself offered them up to you in a search (and sometimes they error out the stream and your video crashes), the layout is terrible, the server stops working abruptly, changes in resolution cause the stream to fail, and it struggles with nonsensical settings.
