Unusable design for the notes, very poor design of the entry display when opening from the monthly view. If you are buying the sync for the theoretical sync with a Mac, do yourself a favour and check the prices for all the apps (aside from the subscription). Very poor overall design. Loved this app in its Pocket PC days, that is where the design still is.

This is the best, most complete calendar/task list app I have found. The task list feature allows you to assign each task a color (priority) and attach it to a date if you want. The calendar allows you to create "events" separate from "tasks," which I find very useful. You can enter a "start" and "stop" time, specify a location, description, and a color code so you can identify similar types of events at a glance. The "note" feature allows you to add a note to a date for later reference.

Updated 18/9/24 Nothing much changes except that I can't open it at all now, it just crashes. Message saying reinstall when the developer has fixed the bug and support took a few days to tell me the same thing. Great. It still loses entries so I can't trust it for important events. Wish I could get 4.2 to sync, I'd use that. Doesn't easily display other calendars such as Google, randomly loses calendar entries especially when it reads descriptions and interprets numbers as dates and times.

The only calender that works is the monthly view. I cant edit old tasks. I would not choose to pay for this upgrade, as PI 4 is much better. They won't be updating the old app any more, but its been years since having an upgrade anyway. Its fine as is. No need to upgrade. I am leaving pocket informant. There are many calendars that are comparable in quality and features for an acceptable one time payment. I am in Canada. $24.99 a year to maintain my pocket informant calendar is to much money.

Interesting looking app, and it seems to have potential. Unfortunately I didn't know most of the features were paid features and I evidently didn't start looking at the app intro today and the trial has expired. I cannot find a list of what the paid fee is and what I'm getting. Are there different fees for different features? Without understanding how the app works, I can't give it a high rating. Is it encrypted?

As a longtime user of Informant I am extremely disappointed in the way the move to a new app has been handled. Forcing people over into your subscription service in order to use the app, including the old app, is just unacceptable. I've always used Informant as a means of combining both Toodledo and Google Calendar services into one app, and Informant has excelled at that. Forcing me now to pay for a yearly subscription syncing service is something I neither need nor want.

As a CG Commanding Officer and a private consultant,I have to stay focused and on track. Informant allows me to have all my information at my fingertips. The sync function works seamlessly with Outlook, including projects. I was having a few problems at first, but Jennifer and her team of engineers worked miracles to sort out my issues. I've been using Informant for years, and I like the functionality. It has a clean and professional interface, which is great.

As an avid long term user, I'm no longer enjoying the new version. I really miss that week to view or agenda view option.I have installed this new version, but it's lost the friendliness as seen in version 4.20. This has now become cluttered. However, I must add that this company FANATIC Software are unbeatable for their quality and designs. It's just that the previous version of this app was so much quicker and easier to use and setup.
