PortSIP Softphone is a SIP-based softphone for Android that uses Wi-Fi or 4G/LTE connection to make and receive calls and Instant Messages.

Interworking with PortSIP PBX, PortSIP Softphone support push notification, which allows it receive calls and messages even it was force terminated.

By using Android's existing contact list, PortSIP Softphone facilitates easy and effective communication management with an intuitive interface which accommodates multiple calls. Call functionality includes the ability to switch between two calls, merge and split calls and perform attended and unattended transfers. It also supports video conference without MCU support.

PortSIP Softphone incorporates advanced security settings which allows for secure call signaling and audio encryption.

It supports up to 1080P video call with H.264 and VP8 codec, and supports HD audio call. Codecs offered includes: G.279, G.711a/u, Opus, AMR, AMR-WB, G.722.1, iLBC, GSM, SPEEX-WB.

So far, the only app that works with all networks(with a slight settings change), my bluetooth, very clear voice calls. And always runs in the background for incoming calls..

Could you please help me with an issue ? I have Galaxy S23. I did everything to make sure PortSip is always running on background, no interruptions. I even put it permanentlly running on cellphone memory. Even tough, it keeps saying Portsip is offline. So I need to activate the app again. Could you help me to keep my line always available to receive callings ?

Audio volume too low during call. And screen light don’t sleep when ear mood. Then Display light is dim. So it’s make a problem for touch screen.

i too am very dissatisfied with this app , same thing , we make calls and clients cant hear us and this is not good for business, its very unprofessional, please advise if theres and update in this regards ,

This is a very light sip client, I really like it. Howver the last update says it fixes an issue of a blank screen when dialing, I never had this issue, but now when I installed the update I started to get this blank screen when calling voice mail. Please help !! Update: all screens whether incoming or outgoing have blank screen/interface Please roll back to old version

I've been using this app for 2 years now. Before it was really performing well. However, this April it already has some errors. It automatically answers a call even without clicking the answer button and you cannot hear it ring. You'll just be surprised that a call came in. I thought the error is only on my iPhone but unfortunately it also occurred in my android smartphone. I hope you'll be able to fix this as it caused some troubles on our part (users). Thank you.

Works great over wifi, connection is stable. So far the most reliable softphone I have tried. Not a single issue while on a call. Two small issues/improvements: * for some reasons, sign-in over 4g doesn't work. It times out after a while (while it works with other softphones). * impossible to exit the app if interested only in outgoing calls. This unnecessarily drains the battery. I have to 'force close' the app after using, which is a bit of a pain.

No ads, no nags to purchase anything, clean interface. Just a straight forward SIP soft phone. One thing that doesn't quite work is the incoming call notification is not passed to Bluetooth. So, if the phone is silent, you won't know it is ringing via Bluetooth. If the phone is not silent, Bluetooth will play the ring tone over whatever media you may be playing, there's just no incoming call notification on the car display.
