myPORT allows you to gain access to and subsequent transportation through any building where the Schindler PORT Technology Transit Management has been installed. The nature of the access available is dependent on your specific rights in relation to the particular building being entered.Launching myPORT will display the available floors and touching one will direct the user to the elevator best placed to take them there.
When a restricted access system is installed then the myPORT app will only work if the user is specifically authorized to enter the building but will then allow a seamless transit from point of entry to point of destination. This authorized user can then use a number of other useful features such as visitor control which allows people without the myPORT app to gain entry for a specific purpose.

This app introduces the most annoying workflow to unlock door or call elevator that I've ever experienced. It requires internet, bluetooth, and a QR that could not be saved/captured as an image. A traditional plastic card is even much much better. But the office locates in a building using this app so I have no choice

the app is very useful and works perfectly, yes sometimes I have to wait for the elevator because I have to restart the app, but it's better than climbing the stairs

Why would you ruin a perfectly good elevator system with this senseless application? You are ruining the experience of a building and it is costing time, data and energy to use the app.
