The app is no longer recognizing my vacuum. This happened before, and I fixed it by deleting the robot from the app and setting it up again. A few days ago, I tried to start the Shark from the app, but it showed 'disconnected.' The vacuum is connected to the router, and I can see its MAC address in the list of connected devices. I've tried removing the vacuum from the app and setting it up again several times, but after each 'successful' operation, there's still no connection. Will wait for fix.

Constantly loses the floor map. But that might be due to the app failing and tells me the vacuum is cleaning when I see it sitting on the base station. Then when I do tell it to go back. It doesn't move or reposition even slightly. But the base station begins to try and suck the debris from the vacuum. It did work a few months ago. But after some update it is a paperweight. It is hooked up to the internet., the app is up to date. Fix your end or I return the damn thing.

The app is very limited. Cannot set schedule for specific areas, only the whole map. Doesn't clean well along walls. Says vacuuming complete, but so many spots were missed. When i tell it to clean a room it goes to clean an unrelated space and doesnt get to the room i specified for 10- 15 minutes. It wont avoid the legs on my table and constantly gets stuck. Cannot see on the map where it is when it's stuck. The brand I had previously had way more capabilities. This technology is way behind!

There is an unfortunate design flaw in this app. It appears there is a password character limit for Wi-Fi access. The app refused to connect across multiple devices, giving us the error message, incorrect password. We decided to test this using a hotspot. We first assigned the hotspot our standard 32 character Wi-Fi password. As always, it failed. However, when we changed it to a 10 character password, it immediately connected. 32 characters is standard for a WPA2 network. Please fix this!

Such a buggy app, particularly when it comes to setting up your home map. I tried deleting the map and having it reexplore, but every time it returns to the dock it doesn't give me the option to save the map and says it needs to explore again. Plus there's a portion in our house where it literally doesn't recognize the wall? It tries to return to dock and ignores all carpet zones running into a wall as if it can just pass right through into the room where the dock is. Carpet zones need work.

I just got my Matrix 2 in 1. I love it, but the app SUCKS! Notifications can't be cleared once the problem is solved. There's nowhere to click to have it start again or dock to reset. Nothing!! I've lost hours of my life trying to get the hokey app to work. It also hasn't retained my robot's registration info. I had to go to the website for that. Even the website SUCKS! I couldn't figure out exactly which Model # it was. Took me about 20 tries. It does not match what's on the robot or box!!!!

The appliance is fine, but this app is the clunkiest, dumbest app that I've ever worked with. It doesn't understand basic commands, keeps sending the vacuum to bizarre spots, and worse, keeps returning the vacuum to dock even when the battery is more than 60%. The history tab doesn't get updated because the app is too dumb to even give real time updates of what the vacuum is doing. So you basically have no idea what is going on and need to manually take the vacuum to separate rooms.

It really needs fixing. It happens very often that there is no communication between the robot and the app, so you click to clean but it doesn't respond at all. Another error that occurs frequently is that it can't connect to the WiFi. The robot cleans great but the app is really unstable. The product is therefore unreliable and sometimes can't be used. The suggested fix by Shark (restarting the phone, restarting the WiFi, restarting the robot) does not solve the problem. Would not buy again.
