Eternal Return Monsters RPG is a turn-based strategy RPG (SRPG) where you fight alongside your hero in epic tactical battles against powerful creatures of different types and elements. Unlike other SRPGs, combat takes place on two distinct boards, both turn-based:

- Small Board: Face roguelike monster waves and survive with strategic moves.
- Big Board: Move freely, plan the best battle tactics, and fight alongside your Kami team to claim victory.
Choose your weapons and magic wisely to defeat enemies in as few turns as possible, earning rare materials and powerful emblems. Your Kami pets (creatures similar to pocket monsters) will support you in battle, unleashing devastating magic attacks when fully charged.

Capture, Train & Battle Powerful Kami!
Like in monster-collecting RPGs, you’ll need to summon and train your team of Kamis. In Eternal Return, Kamis come in Fire, Water, Lightning, and Earth elements, each with unique special attacks. Master their skills to strike multiple enemies at once!

Join raids to capture new Kamis through tactical turn-based combat.
Form the ultimate team and exploit enemy weaknesses.
Collect, train, and evolve Kamis into powerful allies.
An Epic Story with Strategic Battles.

The adventure begins with five story chapters.
Queen Sun has descended, casting an eternal twilight upon the land. King Luna devises a plan to stop her, and you must advance through dungeons filled with roguelike monsters, uncovering treasures, weapons, and powerful magic.

Level up your hero, enhance weapons, and unlock new magic skills.
Explore a fantasy world with legendary yokais, deities, and formidable foes.
Engage in epic turn-based RPG battles against DQ-style monsters.
Free to Play & Offline.
Play anytime, anywhere! Eternal Return is fully playable offline, with only a few optional features requiring an internet connection.
No PvP interruptions! Tactical battles are purely PvE, meaning no frustrating disconnections or AFK players.
Fair and accessible gameplay. The game is free-to-play and completable without purchases, but you can speed up progress with optional in-game items.

The main part of the game is basic turn-based grid combat on a 3x3 grid. The monster battles are much more interesting to me, but they sit in the shadow of the 3x3 combat.

Great game although its a little unclear on some thing.. for instance i can get cards for the kami i already have but cant seem to get a third kami of any kind any way. Also hard to find any way to "concatenate stars" no idea what it means. Unfortunately seems to have the same name as a popular game so you cant find any info on it with any ease at all. However i love the use of magic and moster, the upgrade system is solid, the mechanics and blissfully unique. Love the memory skill aspect.

It seems like a super cute game however every time I enter the chest shop the back button to go back to the game doesn't work and I have to restart. The text skip button also isn't left hand friendly since it's on the right far side of the screen so I end up just skipping story instead. It does look cute though, I may give it another chance later-

Its has a little confusing game mechanic at the beginning until you get used to, but overall it's pretty fun and strategic game. It requires a lot of grind to level up your character, weapons and magic so you can progress, but the gamplay is fun anyway so it's not that hard (just watch some ads to open new chests). The best part is story, its really well written, I liked it. Final boss - super hard, it was amazing

I really enjoy the strategy involved in playing the game. I can see the ads maybe excessive at 30secs a piece but it's worth the resources you get from the chests honestly. While I haven't been playing too long yet, I definitely appreciate not seeing constant offers being thrown at me to purchase specials with real life money. I'll take optional ads over those offers any day. The kamis are cute and diverse which is nice. Overall enjoying the game so far. Will update if things change.

a good game, with well made combat and plenty of options to develop your character differently. i can't really find any serious flaws and yet it completely failed to hook onto me and keep me on the line. even though i bought 3rd tier weapons (just saying this isn't a review from someone who took a quick peek inside), i never cared for the story or the rest of the game and for weeks i'd forget i had it installed. maybe it's just me...

Its fun so far i feel like they can do a lot more with it though many different ways it could be improved like more boxes in the combat grid maybe even enough boxes to add another character/ player. Maybe add armor for equipment or a 1 use per a level accessory. But as it is its still fun and not exactly easy a simple mistake like leaving too many of the wrong creature alive could get you killed so even if it seems simple at first stratagy is still needed to win.
