Lootbox is a dungeon crawler that will let you play an unexperienced demon child. Being one of His Great Unholinesses sons, you are about to set on a quest that will lead you to various places until you finally have the chance to help your father defend the realm against its enemies.

Features:

- Random dungeon generation, Maze-like and Cave-like
- Static levels with NPC and Quests
- Build your character up to level 40
- Unlock new skills while levelling
- Find magic runeboards and runes to cast spells
- Get you own minion that can carry things for you or even fight for you!
- Turn-based - you can play it anytime, anywhere - even if you're in a hurry
- Available in english and german language

Why is it satisfying? Imagine the following situations...

You are playing, but are getting a phone call...
no real time decisions, you can safely interrupt the game at any point.

You have forgotten the time while you're playing...
no need to exit the game, a real world clock can be switched on optionally.

You died in the game...
no permadeath, this is no rogue-clone. You can load/save at any time, or return to safety without losing all your money or equipped items.

You forgot to save...
the game is autosaved every level, don't panic.

You want to go back to the starter dungeons once you are stronger...
you can come back to your old friends and show them your uber gear.

Your smartphone is not the newest model...
the game runs well on older devices, happy playing!

You want to buy in game things with real-life money, but where...
nowhere. This game is OFFLINE and there is NO Pay-To-Win mechanism. Sorry.

You are used to being forced to register for a user account...
register what? This game is OFFLINE. I don't need your data, thanks anyway.

You are used to being forced to buy a premium version...
there isn't. Buy once, play endless.

A flawed, but quite enjoyable dungeon crawler with a silly plot. Game balance could use a lot of work, especially early progression, which is heavily tied to having a decent weapon or not. Enemies also become hp sponges lategame, and there's quite a bit of backtracking due to sparse quick travel options. And yet, the dialogue is funny, the progressing generally feels great, and there's quite a bit to explore and discover. A valiant effort, had a lot of fun with it.

Controls are very imprecise. Lost many runs because of this. Progression is extremely slow for this style. Audio is monotonous and gets downright annoying. Font makes reading difficult at times. Execution is otherwise decent but nothing special. If the character building is done purely through leveling (no race/class, no skill trees) it kinda defeats the roguelike genre. Also, if I've made it past level 10/20 how can it tell me I've only completed 35% of the dungeon?

Love the game! I have to say, for $1 it's been worth it. It was rough for a bit at the start; I didn't know the order of dungeons and wished there'd been instructions. I'm still not sure how the magic works. Buying 5/10 levels instead of 1 would be nice, always going back to the start to buy them is tiring. And are there more vendors, or just the starter throne room ones? There's a lack of direction so you flounder at first, but I assume it's intentional so you learn through discovery. So fun!

The "great update" broke the whole game completely. It's either a screen with "start new game" and "load" and none of the buttons do anything. Or it's a black screen with the top toolbar and a character showing and nothing works, can't tap anything, completely unusable. Good update....

Very good, thumbs up, no hurry, no worry, put down anytime, get addicted anytime, simple enough, no grand skill trees to plan, just level, grind, occasionally craft some items, no topdown view, no over-exaggerated graphics, I like it. i like the new updates a lot, thank you thank you.

As Promised a 5 Star Review! Updated from last time. The Crafting, The Spells, & The Undead Garder make it more interesting when last Update forced saved games out and new game start over more of a challenge then would know. No Pay To Win, No Ads, No Social Anything other then going online to Forums for advice, suggestions from other cool players. When did have a problem or complaint, Developer Mario was there to aid assistance cause he gave a damn about those who took the time to play. 👍

Absolutely worth the price. No adds or in app purchases. Just a nice rpg. It starts very basic and has a decent bit to unlock as you level. I have yet to finish the first chapter and have played for hours so far.

Last year, I tried this game but uninstalled a short while later because I could not get used to it like other similar games. I've just given this game another chance and forced myself to get used to it. Now, I can't stop playing the damn game :) gotta admit it is pretty tough to get far in the game, which is a good thing. Well done my good dev!
