I don't normally do ratings, but I must here. This is EXACTLY what I've been seeking for months. How many browser tabs do I have open with various scale patterns? HERE is a concise and interactive summary. And then some! Super impressed by the simple yet extensible interface. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I'm going to upgrade to Pro in gratitude. EDIT: The ability to create custom (e.g., diagonal) patterns is so helpful to me as an intermediate player.

Really loving the app! It's so useful that you can view scales and arpeggios all over the fretboard. Without getting too into the weeds here, one piece of advice I have is the app should use flats instead of sharps for the keys of G#, D#, and A#. (So Ab, Eb, and Bb) The key of C# should also have the option of being Db. This would make it so musicians can properly learn their scales and chords. Edit: that's exactly the setting I was looking for, with proper enharmonics this app is 5 stars!

Thank you for a dream come true. You can definitely tell that the developers have a clear understanding of what they are doing. Love the ability to custom tailor nearly every aspect of the UI along with custom tunings, scales and scale pallets, and interval labeling.. all with rock solid stability to top it off. Anyone can make this app the app they were looking for, beginner to pro. Initially thought pro was over priced, but the completeness is worth it. Excellent business model as well.

The skill, knowledge, and imagination of the programmers kind of jumps out at you. Exactly what I was looking for, only better. The concept of inversions is simple in principle but a little difficult (for me at least) to recognize on a guitar neck. This clever program lets you select from dozens of scales and triads, ask you for a key, then displays all possible combinations for the selected shape and key up and down the fret board. Under one option, the root is identified (and colored red) while the relative positions for all other notes are displayed inside each note. Another option shows only the note names. Or you show both the note letter and it's position relative to the root. The names of notes not being played can be shown in dim letters or left blank.

This program is designed very well. I've been playing guitar for almost 40 years off and on. One of my biggest problems is practicing and memorizing the fretboard, not that they go hand in hand. I've just decided to start taking lessons again so that I can be held accountable for my lack of practice. This application will get me my other goal. Excellent job designing and implementing this, you deserve 10 stars.

Lots of features, but basic things missing, like the ability to display positions on the fretboard or highlight/display only a section thereof. Also shares the common error in most of these apps of spelling notes enharmonically incorrectly - how can an app that know a C7 contains a *flat* seven then turnaround and call that seven an A#? Why mislead learners with bad information? Do better.

Excellent app! Great for memorizing notes on the fretboard. The app includes scales, tunings, and a trainer. Highly customizable and enables the user to create quick and easy in app screenshots. Currently using the free version, but I am definitely going to upgrade to pro.

A truly well made app made by and for guitarists. I'm honestly impressed with all of the features, and I appreciate that the app is a one time purchase instead of a rolling subscription. Truly a great tool for guitarists of all skill levels.
