The Solid-Optics Multi-Fiber-Tool is designed for network professionals. This software requires a Multi-Fiber-Tool which can be acquired through Solid Optics.This app has several functionalities:
1) recode or rebrand SFP(+), XFP and QSFP modules from Solid Optics to work with routers/switches from other manufacturers;
2) set the channel of tunable XFP or SFP+ DWDM optics;
3) Read the optical power from a LC-terminated fiber with the multi-fiber-tool 3 or a seperate power read optic.

Terrible. I bought one second hand and support refuses to give me credentials for the app. So the app, and the hardware I have (MFT and several optics), is unusable.

Totally worthless. Bought one and requires a "login" Can't create an account, so can't use it - REALLY Guys?? Don't waste your money + tool only works with vendor's optics.
