Highly disappointed experience. Took 3 days to setup because issues with Singtel router. But the TC customer service was a wonderful person who helped till the end to solve the problem. App is the issue here. Limited options. Famous radio stations from Malaysia is not available. Search function limited to what Sonos knows. But theres so many radio station apps. Highly dependent on the device to operate. Can assign presets to the device for ease of use for daily and elderly folks.

It has really been a frustrating experience using the Sonos app to setup one playbar and two Sonos One's. As much as it seems like a simple setup, the app brings you on a "joy ride" featuring: - multiple sign in loops which never seems to register - forced update (or you cannot add more devices) - never succeeding updates with error 30 no matter which device The experience could have been better if the app was designed to give the user control over the intention, rather than attempt to be smart

allow user to have option to select particular folders of local device. poor update... have to keep device screen on then SONOS will complete the whole song, otherwise it will intermittently stop & skip to next song. even when screen is kept on, upon finishing the first song, it will say "connection to my phone was lost" won't play the next song but will skip to the 3rd or 4th or next next song... VERY VERY VERY UNSTABLE...

Avoid Sonos I invested in this sound system that creates wonderful sound. Naturally, It works only if you have one WiFi network. If you have multiple networks because of the size of your space, it does not tell you on which it is connected. So trial and error after every update of either your router or app update. This was ok until a few years ago. After recent App updates, you can not navigate on the pages as the app hangs every time and looses the history or settings. I regret this investm

Got there eventually after having to plug Internet cable directly into the speaker what a long winded process and still sometimes we get pauses within the songs. For such a wealthy company you would think they could develop good software as there hardware is actually excellent. I know so many people not using Sonos anymore because of the bad software experience that comes with it. If only they made it easy to connect would be such a good product.

2025 Update: Still can't cast from YouTube Music app, still can't like/dislike songs, still terrible. 2024 Update: App is still garbage. Initial Review: Can't cast music from Android device. Can't thumbs up/down songs when playing YouTube Music on the app, and can't cast to Sonos from YouTube Music app, so users are forced to use this horrific app where they can't customize favorite songs / songs they hate. App is a slow, cluttered, unintuitive mess.

What an incredible pain in the A*S it was getting the S1 firmware back on my Sonos amp w/this app but finally after hours of failures it did downgrade and return my Sonos back to a functioning piece of hardware. I just wish it wouldnt constantly notify me that S2 is available for my Sonos sometimes going as far as throwing up a window withabig buttpn in the middle to begin update. It ain't compatible Sonos! and u know it will only make my amp unusable so stop pushing your garbage update on me.

Terrible. Decent hardware. Possibly the worst company in the world to make software. They could make an amazing open to everything platform that audiophiles and normal music users could enjoy. But instead they go out of their way to implement terrible ideas, terrible methods to extract more out of the purchaser of an already overpriced product and remove features that you already use. In the end don't buy this product or use their software. This ecosystem deserves to die along with corporate.
