A chance encounter amid the festivities of Guardia's Millennial Fair in Leene Square introduces our young hero, Crono, to a girl by the name of Marle. Deciding to explore the fair together, the two soon find themselves at an exhibition of the Telepod, the latest invention by Crono's longtime friend Lucca. Marle, fearless and brimming with curiosity, volunteers to assist in a demonstration. An unanticipated malfunction, however, sends her hurtling through a rift in the dimensions. Taking hold of the girl's pendant, Crono bravely follows in pursuit. But the world into which he emerges is the one of four centuries before. Journey to the forgotten past, the distant future, and even to the very End of Time. The epic quest to save a planet's future makes history once again.

Interesting story and great to explore ,vintage rpg game recommended to play if you like to go around the map ,smoothly in game got no problem so far !!! Got different of this game to find out ,but it took effort to complete or else chose the easyway watch at youtube ,watching others playing and playing yourself ,they are two different way experience results !!! Those who face problems with blackscreen just exit the screen and come back again. It worked !

One of the best RPG ever! Yes it is old. Yes the graphic is old and not up to par with modern RPG's 3D graphic. However the story line and the battle system are really unique. This game is a proof that a good game is not all about graphics. Chrono Trigger is not simply just a game. It is an experience that transcends time and graphical fidelity. It is a masterpiece that deserves a modern remake and sequel. Play it! You won't regret.

Definitely my favorite game of all time. The controls take some getting used to, you can't mute the music/sounds, and you can't customize the background colors like you can in the SNES version, but it does have the updated additional content from the DS version (no spoilers from me, if you know, you know!) Update: after the most recent update, I cannot progress past the first Lavos encounter, the game auto closes. You can now mute the music, but only through gaming hub, not the game itself.

My game stalls when Spekkio grants the party magic and I cant progress because of this bug. I also get the black screen/no sound bug that plenty of other people are getting. I'm refunding for now and I'll check back in a year to see if Square Enix has fixed the bugs. 1 Star still because Square threw a fit when I tried to refund. Game worked eventually but should have been fixed much faster.

AWESOME! Been playing this since the SNES and still own my copy. Only 4* cuz targeting an enemy is awkward, and you'll sometimes go after the wrong enemy, making your TEC not hit all who were intended. And, to fix the 'no sound bug', you'll have to use the "<" to close the app by selecting the "Close the game?", then use the "|||" to reopen the game. If you see the white background with the SQUARE ENIX logo, you should hear the "clock ticking sound" on the Title Screen (along with the music). 😋

Held off on purchasing the game after reading the reviews. After awhile I decided to give it a shot. Fast forward the clock and I'm 30hrs in and ive almost 100%'d the game. I didn't have any technical issues with the game whatsoever, there are some frustrations in combat during tense situations where It was hard to attack accurately, but for $5 I'm glad I finally played this game. Would recommend 👍

Decent version but a little bugged. Wish you could mute it too, so I could listen to music while playing. The controls work pretty well though, once you get used to. It's only an issue in a few stages that demand more precision of movements like Death Peak and Geno Dome. A few bugs still remain: some texts are still bugged (e.g. Mt woe) and black screen happens sometimes when loading a game or using the bookmark feature (if it happens, your bookmarked position is lost. So don't rely much on it).

Frequently has issues loading that result in no audio. The cloud storage and cleaner interface should have been the main reason to play this on android instead of steam, but the cloud storage doesn't work. The game has good autosaving, which is nice because the game crashes often. Controls are clunky even with an Xbox series X controller. It's also weird how they renamed a bunch of items. I recommend playing this on steam.
