Horrible port from pc, there are texture glitches in any quality setting except the lowest which is unplayable due to blurriness. I've found that they happen much less in the highest quality but this means more battery use, and the game still will have ugly graphical bugs constantly. The gameplay is great, with many missions, characters, enemies, recipes and diverse world areas. But this is obscured by bugs. I also notice there's little attention to detail, ex: Lowest volume setting is too loud

Occasional lagging. Playing on a Samsung Galaxy A80 there was some lagging that would come and go as soon as the game started. Changing the Graphics Quality from Medium (default) to Low setting fixed it completely and the 'downgrade' is barely noticeable, it looks like PS3 game graphics and runs smooth, so . . . ? This game is really fun, the only hassle is moving the camera takes a bit of adjusting because touch screen only controls. Definitely worth the sale price.

Game causes your device to become very hot, even though im playing on a device that ha a built in fan. The shame is that this game was available on consoles, but has hardly any controller support built in. You can move and jump, but cant use the controller to even advance the story text. This must be possible to play with a controller as the mechanisms already exists for the console versions. screen mappers dont work well as some items you interact with move as you select them. disappointing

Honestly it's not a bad port. However within minutes my phone heats up a lot. More so than any other games I have played on my galaxy s20 SE. I got it just for the dlc that was added to it. Though I feel like the dlc would have been better served on the console/pc versions of the game instead of this. Optimization is key here as already stated by everyone. Oh and controller support would be a bonus since the screen wants to melt my fingerprints off.

In its current state, Dragon Quest Builders feels unoptimized with its power consumption causing devices to get warm rather quickly. This causes the screen to dim and performance to tank. This wouldn’t be as much of an issue if the lower graphics options actually had the interface and text look crisp at least. On setting the graphics to low, even the text is blurry. Hopefully an update :)

Not very well optimized for mobile. My flagship phone (Galaxy S22+) heats up and gets really warm at medium setting. At low, it's better, but now I have to put up with pixelated graphics and blurry text (which almost becomes unreadable at a smaller size). Any way to make the text more crisp at the very least? Also, it would be nice if there was an option to freely adjust the position of the UI controls according to everyone's own comfort level, esp. the left joystick for movement.

First off, I own this game for just about everything it has been released on: Vita, PS4, the Switch, and now for Android. The game itself gets a 5 star rating; however, this Android version loses a couple of points due to two things: 1. Within minutes my G100 gets uncomfortably hot and ultimately freezes up/crashes. Running it on lower settings helps, but then text & graphics become too blurry. 2. The touch controls feel way too clunky compared to an actual controller.

I know people that primarily play mobile games don't usually take kindly to anything costing more than "free with a buttload of ads"... This game is great, and great for mobile. Runs very smooth on my phone, the click to place works good. I'm only so far into the game, but I played on pc, and I know there is plenty of content that is worth the 20 bucks. Which 20 dollars one time is better than 100 ads an hour and mtx shoved down your throat at every turn..
