Mushrooming has never been easier. The application uses state-of-the-art artificial intelligence algorithms and neural networks. The calculation is highly demanding on the performance of the device and therefore takes place on the server. It is therefore necessary to have an internet connection to recognize mushrooms.
The database currently contains 12,352 mushrooms. For 1736 species it achieves accuracy over 80% and the number is still growing. To achieve best results, the mushrooms need to be photographed several times from different perspectives, so that all parts of the mushroom from different angles can be seen in the photos.
Saves search history, displays photos of recognized mushrooms, and more.
No mushroom recognition application can be completely flawless. Never consume mushrooms based solely on the results of this application. Many people die each year after eating a poisonous mushroom. Always check the results with an expert before eating.

Downloaded this, took a picture of the blond Morel, (to test it) tried different angles...Morel did not even show up in the list of 5 or six it asked to to chose from their best guess. It did not show up by the Latin name either. And yes, it was a Morel.... Looking for a better app that actually works.

Didn't get very far. Downloaded the app and opened it. Tried to check the "do not show this again" in the opening disclaimer but didn't work. Agreed to the disclaimer and the app started glitching. Closed out and tried again and still did the same. Guess I'm not going to be using it 🤷♀️

Fungus is very useful and helpful application. I love nature and mushrooms. Thanks to this app, I no longer have to carry a large and heavy book about mushrooms in the forest. Now I have everything important about mushrooms in my phone. It's easy to use and very reliable. Definitely recommend. Thumb up developer! 😉

App crashes all the time and identification is hit and miss. Un-installed because not working anymore.

Awesome / Grossartig! :) ...at least one where you can upload more than One photo! ..detection quite accurate! ...and it memorizes your previous finds (which most dont either)

Great app. Tested on several mushrooms and it was correct. Perfect if you like going out in nature and exploring. If you plan to eat your mushrooms, this mushrooms identification app helps, but do verify your results it in a pharmacy (at least we can do that in our area). Stay safe and enjoy nature!

Very handy! I was checking if there are apps that can be useful on my forest walks and this one definitely on the top spot! Very convenient and easy to use 👍🏼

Unfortunately the identification is not entirely correct, I have many photos of fungus in my area that i have long ago identified and ran them through the app for fun and unfortunately some weren't in the list
