The application is not functioning as expected. Every time it is downloaded, an F1 error occurs, causing the fridge compressor to malfunction. Deleting the application immediately resolves the issue. The primary reason for purchasing the Brass Monkey was to monitor it during trips, but this has become impossible due to the persistent technical difficulties. The purchase feels like a waste of money, and it would have been preferable to choose a more reliable brand.

App no longer works and crashes phone every time it is loaded. Old review - The app does what it's supposed to, but if you have multiple fridges, there is no way to manage all three without turning one fridge off or unpairing it. Very inconvenient. I use the Rovin app instead, I can select the fridge I want each time I load the app, nice and simple.

One of the reasons I purchased the fridge is for Bluetooth connectivity but this App is pathetic. It does not function as it should. You have to scan and reconnect every time you open the App. After about 1 minute the App screen starts flashing for no reason. You can't set temperatures properly and it doesn't even show the correct temperatures. From what I've read in reviews the old App was much better.... The CAR FRIDGE FREEZER app works with Brass Monkey fridges and it does a much better job.

This version didn't work for me. I read all the good reviews about the previous version 1.2.1 so I found it in the internet, downloaded and installed. Works brilliant and you have all the adjustable features. If you can't connect to fridge try turning gps on. Once the app finds the fridge turn the gps off. Works for me. Not sure why the developer went backwards.
MinMin Lite
So far so good. The big plus now that I'm using the app is that it shows the battery level as well as all the other info and controls on the fridge digital panel. Maybe it will help others if I say that the app info in the store detected my phone model and told me it was compatible, then after downloading the app I went through the pairing process in the app itself, not through the phone Bluetooth settings. Working fine for now, will update my rating if there are any issues.

Good app though sometimes a little hard to make connection - pressing the star button on my fridge helps. A big trap: the Bluetooth app by default on my Samsung S7 is set to send and receive calls so you lose phone functionality. You have to turn off these options, leaving only the Input option enabled, in the "JR-bluetooth" options area.

App is great as it has many more features for controlling the fridge than what's on the built in display on the fridge. (50L dual zone) Was slow to connect second time but as another user has said I probably need to turn on the app's location permission. Can't find any instructions on what all the settings do, so I will have to experiment with each one - I'm glad the developer has included these settings - I would not have expected this detail for an entry level frodge. Overall happy so far.

What have you guys done, the Brass monkey app no longer opens or works on any of my phones??? The App won't open at all on anything, please fix ASAP. Also can you please add the functionality to save and connect with multiple brass monkey fridges, I have the app on 3 x phones just so I can monitor all fridges and you have to add each time, it is very frustrating everytime you want to use your fridge and app.
