With a step by step process to do the wifi connection, the first time set up is very easy. Select your design and after that every step is well marked to have your lamp connected within minutes of downloading the app. With notifications on each step, its easy to navigate

Send colors to your lamp with the appThis is the bonus feature of using the app. With the mobile app, you can now send color messages to your lamp group on the move. Select from the wide spectrum of colors with the slide of a finger and click send. All connected lamps in your group will light up in this color.
See the saved colors of each lamp
After the connection is done, your home screen will show all the connected lamps in your group. You can nickname the lamps in your group. And their outline will show the last saved colour on each lamp. So in a big group, you can always check who sent the last color.

The idea is great, the app is terrible. It doesn't pick up every Wi-Fi signal, and the device itself only connects to 2.4ghz anyway. Even though the app says it's connected, it's not really connected. The app is really bad at connecting the actual lamp to your internet.

Love the lamp. It's a great way to stay connected with your grown children. Altho, I do not love the app. It does not work 80% of the time. My group doesn't show up and it won't light up my group. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it with no luck. Leaves me frustrated 😠

Love the lamps, love the app. Best buy ever. 1 feature I would love to suggest, is notifications on the app if the lamp is turned on and you are not near it. All in all. I have nothing but good words for it 🙌
