After giving it one star, I will reiterate to 4.5 stars. Some updates fixed many issues and the app is cool (pun not intended) and stable. However, my Tosot Liberty (Romania) heat pump keeps disconnecting every 2 months or so, and I have to reset & pair it again with the Wi-Fi router. Any idea why? Despite my heat pump being a "on-off inverter" basically, because of poor programming algorithms, I really like the hardware quality of these machines. I hope for better programming in the future.

The Tosot+ app is disappointing and lacks essential features. It doesn’t show indoor or outdoor temperatures, making it hard to monitor conditions remotely—basic functions that should be standard. The app is also unreliable, with frequent connectivity issues, and it logs users out when someone else logs in, which is frustrating for multi-user households. Gree needs to improve this app significantly. It’s too basic and doesn’t meet the needs of modern users.

Had this app connected to the heat pump for several months. Then suddenly for no apparent reason I've got no connection. Two things: 1. As it was the first time, the actual setup process is unintuitive, requires a bit of guess-work. Don't expect success on your 1st, 2nd or 3rd attempt. 2. The manual appears to be written by a Chinese tech who used Google Tranlate and it doesn't describe what any of the functions are actually for. Painful experience.

Garbage app, requires the wifi to be 2.4 and cannot work with 5g wifi, and when I switched to 2.4 it still did not work, don't waste your time. No matter how many times I reset the ac wifi function, it never work it start connecting but reaches 49% and says failed to connect and to make sure I have 2.4 wifi and make sure the password is correct which both are correctly set. If I can give it zero star I would.

I found the App a bit of a drag to get registered, it kept coming up with numbers and letters no space. Solution; Name LLLLLLLLL Password LLLLNLLLLL L = letters, must contain at least one UPPER Case. N = number, single number will work. Number of letters and numbers doesn't seem to matter, although putting the number inside the letters does seem to help. Finding and connecting to the GREE Split AC was easy from there on. HINT Turn AC OFF before doing anything, follow the "setting the WiFi instructions" this is done with the WiFi turned off. Used to be 2 max 3 stars because poor control and not user friendly. Seems that an update was made, it is more responsive, has more controls and is easier to use. Before this update I always had to test it sitting next to the AC, just to validate that the controls actually work.

Bad application, it does not work properly on Tosot air conditioners. It disconnects automatically even though it has been reset many times. In short, there is no benefit from Wi-Fi service.

After like 10 tries, i managed to connect this pieave of c... to my router (I work in the IT sector, so this shouldnt cause too much headache) and after like 1 year it suddenly disconnected, and I cant manage to resynch the AC with my wireless router. Chinese design, chinese dialect, inaccurate drscriptions. Feels like the worst quality chinese copy, from 10 years ago.... I wonder what Gree has to say about their sister company...
