The app performs well, but I've encountered issues where it needed to be force-closed multiple times. I'm uncertain if this is due to a problem with my router or if it's an app-related issue. Additionally, it doesn’t seem to have a feature for displaying devices assigned to specific networks, which makes it challenging to manage connected devices by network. This limitation impacts overall usability and organization. All devices shows under the main network.

The experience of using the app is generally pretty good, but basic management features aren't replicated in the Web UI. This is short-sighted and may massively reduce the lifespan of the hardware. It makes using the app, and even the supported product leave a sour taste in my mouth. I can't recommend the app, or the supported product.

The hardware works fine, although 1 of my 3 deco's wouldn't auto configure... manually set up. APP is a different story - obviously not tested thoroughly before release. Isolate device/IoT feature is buggy. Try to disable, forces to go thru enable process multiple times before eventually disabling isolation. Randomly enables/disables at times. Obviously this wasn't debugged before release by the "progranmers". AI & kid videogamer generated code is GIGO. Hire real progranmers - old folks

It's alright. Give you all the functionality you need for wifi management but for a few months now, it struggles to recognize devices on the network. Shows up as random names. Even turning on client identification doesn't not help. Sometimes a device can be connected to the network and running and it won't show up at all on the list. Using a deco x55.

It is a great option for when you can't drill holes to get cables to every room or you prefer the seamless switching between access points instead of traditional access points, where the device decides when to switch. The mesh wifi has had some short moments of downtime but not many. The app itself is cool and has the important settings easily available.

When there are problems with the cloud service, even though Internet is "working," this causes major problems with our home network. A new device isn't allowed to join; it won't assign an IP. Attempts to troubleshoot just make it worse: satellites are forgotten and then can't be re-added. TP-Link doesn't really provide a status for their cloud online that I can find, just the unhelpful message in the app. This can go on for hours, then magically everything is fine in the morning.

I got the Deco-X55 mesh routers and was really excited to set them up. I read that web interfaces were rolling out for them, and this app is exactly why they are necessary - but the web interface is extremely limited. App is slow. It can't manage tokens and constantly has hangs, especially when minimizing the app. The interface is cloogy, advanced settings are burried and hard to work with. Port mapping and ip reservations take forever to configure. Hubs constantly lose connection.

Update: I will raise the rating to a overall 4 when stable. At least once a week, the app shows the 2 satellites offline yet both show green. I have to unplug the main node to reset. Worked with support on this and they had no answer. Wanted me to download a Beta version and I said no. Can't risk not having WiFi for work. Support them stopped communicating with me. Still an ongoing issue after several upgrades. Very irritating.
