I love this app ! You can track where you are on a trail so you don't get lost ! Plus so nice to know parking, bathroom and shelter locations. We have greatly expanded our list of trails to visit :)

Poorly designed app with unintuitive UI. Maps are cached, but zero control/transparency over what exactly or how long is kept- I'd rather pick which maps to download myself. Home screen is cluttered with numerous menus, updates and "social" nonsense instead of just showing map view. At least have a "location" button at the top level to go straight to my location on a map. All trail stats except distance are buried and require clicking/scrolling to get at- show them in the pop-up like distance!

Constaly tells me downloading, updating community. Try to select something, it does it again. Tried to stop the app, had to force stop it and it was still sucking battery. This should be a good app but badly implemented.

Downloaded it for easy map/trail use, trails don't load or don't exist. Would give it a zero if I could

Now that I figured out how to pull up the maps it's very helpful when hiking and walking doing the Five Rivers MetroParks Trails Challenge. It was a problem to pull the maps up until someone showed me the proper way to access them. We finished all the walking/hiking trails and had a wonderful time doing all of the trails using the maps to keep us on track.

Not ready for release. We saw this app on the promotion for the newly opened San Francisco Crosstown Trail. Type in the trail name and the app displays several entries that are identical, as it truncates the trail name before the section number. Choose one at random and the app shows the general area of the trail on the map. Attempt to zoom in and the trail location disappears. As such, while it has promise, I can't recommend it in its current state.

I was hoping to find new and interesting places to camp in Northern California but the locations I already know are frequently wrong or completely missing. My frustration with this app inspired me to go back to the CA reservation page where the sites are in the correct location. Regretfully on CA reservation some of the smaller sites just have a placeholder page but that's better than nothing which coincidentally is what the app has to offer me.

Good for maps, when signal available. Would be nice to have a "download area/park" feature so we could use the maps when out of data range. Also would be good if the phone back button took us to the previous screen used in the app, rather than exiting and then having to start over zooming into the location of interest. I'm keeping it. 👍
