= BACKSTORY =
The Templar Knights are a revered and storied martial order who were the elite forces for the Star Traders during their most challenging conflict: the Galactic War against the Guild.
They are known for their 10-foot tall battle mechs known as Leviathan Battle Suits. Once designed for high-pressure environments and exploring gas giants and deep space, these mechs have now been modified for war.
Templars descend from a Zendu bloodline -- a unique heritage that gives them the ability (with proper training and ritual) to pass all of memories from their lives (and any memories passed down by their ancestors) to a newborn child. This memory gift is known as a Templar’s Lineage – and it is what gives Templars their immense advantage in combat, tactics, engineering, and the ability to drive hulking Leviathan Battle Suits. You will take on the role of a Templar Captain who hails from a storied Lineage reaching back 87 Templars -- and who pages back through the memories to help cope with the dire situation at hand.
With the Great Exodus coming to an end, the Star Traders founded new colonies on the few remaining habitable worlds. The Templar Knights are called upon once again to defend the Star Traders and their new colonies from an ancient threat.

Fantastic game, no nonsense. The interface is easy and intuitive and it doesn't compromise itself in the way that mobile games often do. The graphics and sound design really match the game's atmosphere. The devs are also very active in providing support (personally, even!) and the game really feels like a labour of love.

For €10, the music shouldn't be so repetitive or loop so abruptly, it's really jarring, and the visuals aren't great either. The game is a bit clunky too and I'd generally expect better quality and smoother gameplay for the price tag. Also the game is pretty cheesy, but that's subjective.

Played quite a bit of the first one. Really appreciate you adding a suggestion in Assault to continue gaining honor per kill. Got quite far in Battleforce on PC, but got really stuck on a certain long mission. One thing I appreciate in Assault over Battleforce is being able to choose missions and campaigns. But what are sequels if you don't change and innovate? Your games are thoughtful and well put together at a great price. Hope to see more games from you that I'll enjoy.

Reminiscent of Games Workshop in design elements and lore. Tactically interesting. Upgrade options for your mechs are many, and I enjoy setting them up. Very occasionally I find the UI lacking. eg it's easy to throw a grenade at your own units. It's mostly very well thought through. Many hours of entertainment. The most expensive android game I have, and I don't regret spending.

Awesome! Picked this game up after playing Star Traders: Frontiers. It is pretty interesting going back to a previous time during the xeno wars. This entire franchise is more rich and has quite a following. This game very much stands on its own merits as a tactical turn-based simulator. A deep research pool and character level-ups make sure you have to be specific in how you build your troops and establish your strategy. Absolutely worth the asking price!

I'm a good few hours into the game and having a great time with it. Beautifully realised tbs mechanics that interact with each other in interesting ways, and it's very cool to play through the lore of an earlier period of the Dune-inspired Star Traders universe. It would be nice if there were a little more variety among enemies, and music had longer loops, but those are minor quibbles for a really neatly put together game with an unlock web to make Path of Exile nervous.

This is an excellent game with good mechanics and presentation. The writing is actually really good. If you're looking for a 40k style universe this is definitely for you. One thing I really like about it is you can play it for 2-3 hours and really get into it, or just a quick session between classes or whatever and it's equally fun. The turn based system works very well for that I. This case, and the save system is seamless. Great game

This game progresses at a very nice speed and has an interesting and somewhat flavorful text and story. The tech tree is fun and involved and the missions seem to have different kinds of objectives. I even just got a choice within the story to accept one of four different missions to go forward, and it was presented as a non-linear storyline.
